so I bought a krayt laser carb for 3 mil, was that a waste of money now or will the gun still have good damage post cu?

The Laser Carbine has moved to XXX1 box for its cert. While this is a 1st tier cert I don't feel it will be much, if any, weaker than a 4th tier because that branch is Combat XP.

This is very helpful to know.. as most of us(or some at least) have a very decent laser carb on our back's that we aren't wanting to rid ourselves of.. especially if they were to become useless like so many of the weapons seemingly have!

I think the Laser will be very useful with it having the additional Elemental Damage.....which oneI can't remember off the top of my head and TC-EP3 is down right now for me to check.

Rifleman Got the Advanced Laser Rifle, BH's got the High Capacity Scatter Pistol, when do we get our Advanced Laser Carbine, as Laser carbines are particularly weak ATM on TC-EP3? Please get the devs to work on this one. One thing is for sure, the current best carbines are laser carbines, but if the CU come like this they will be terrible.

Well on TC the Laser Carbine has been Cert'd at 0001 Carbineer but all the info I have had on the Corr Forum says the Laser Carbine is at 0003 Carbineer.....so maybe there is an Advanced Laser Carbine coming....who knows....but now all certs (but Master Level Weapons and maybe a couple others) will be level/prof/race certs instead of in a skill box.

With the change in Weapon Certs, the Laser Carbine is looking to be very weak.....and the first conversion numbers I have seen confirm this problem.
Just to let you all know, voicing your displeasure on this in the appropriate public threads is greatly appreciated.....I am taking it up in the Corr Forum but the more it gets posted in the proper threads the better chance we have of being heard. Please do rant or flame, but simply state the problem of converted Lasers doing half the DPS of lesser quality Elites.
My suggestion in the Corr Forum was to swap the relative power/stats of the Slugthrower and Laser. At this point it is totally unacceptable to me for a weapon that a Carbineer and even BH uses a vast majority of the time basically become a Novice Level Carbine.....we will all be outcombined BILLIONS of credits in this scenario. Not that weapons don't need balanced and other profs will be getting nerfed harder than us, but there is no logical reason for SOE to move the Laser Carbine down in level so much.

Carbineers should have an advanced laser carbine like the riflemen got an advanced laser rifle and bounty hunters got the high capacity scatter. It just makes good sense.

I got a decentone +4x Damage tissues, for 100k.
It got a speed slice.
I also got an Elite with +61 -.5 tissues for 10k
I bought the tissues seperatly for 550k, also got 2 E11s and a Scatter Pistol.
