Thread: So what carbine does the most damage these days?

It used to be laser carbine but im new to the CU. Thanks for ant answers.

QFE. They both seem to have about the same caps for max damage and SAC. Haven't seen anything to suggest one is better than the other. If you're just vendor hunting, you'll probably be able to find elites more easily, as they only have a CL cert.

Yeah, the mk2 and the elite should have the same caps and everything... it depends on the server ressources which one comes out better. On gorath its the e11 mk2, also it needs one tissue less than the elite.

For a Carbine that ANY Master Carbineer can use, the Elite Carbine or E11 Mk.II are the primary choices. Between these two, it depends on your server's resources. On Ahazi, I've noticed that the Elites come off a bit nicer than the E11's. Energy based firearms tend to be on the high end of the damage scale, so they will be your primary weapons.
Your secondary Carbine should be a good kinetic Carbine. The Czerka one will suffice as a secondary. My alternate Carbine is an excellent Nym's Slugthrower, which is very high end on its random stats. However, the Nym Slugthrower is a reward item. The Czerka can be crafted. They can come off decently if well made.
A good Energy weapon like the Elite Carbine will slice through Assault Armor clad players.
A good Kinetic weapon like a high-end Nym's Slugthrower or Czerka will MURDER Recon Armor clad players.
P.S.- I didn't add the E5 or Proton Carbine to my selections. They're good Carbines, but require professions that not all Master Carbineers get, i.e. Squad Leader or Master Bounty Hunter.

Well, the Proton hasn't got the best damage, but it has a Base DPS of 332 or 333, so I think that the Proton carb PWNZ!
