I was on TC5 testing out the CU and finally made it to carbines 4 today. I pulled out my E11 and ran right into combat. After I fired the first shot, I realized something was really really wrong. It shoots green balls of energy! Our beloved stormtrooper weapon of choice has been ruined. It is supposed to shoot red bolts as shown by practically every stormtrooper in the movies. It honestly looks really bad right now.

Well, be glad that it at least doesn't sound like the CDEF and DH-17 carbines
Let's hope it's just a bug of some sort that can be fixedand not the intended animation

Looked like the shots from the BFG 9000 in the old DOOM game
Hope they change it back to its usual shot. E11s are in the movies and the Devs has to make it as it should be.

Just switch E11 effect with Bowcaster and then switch CDEF with E11 and everybody will be happy.

Damage Types are color coded for tactical purposes in combat.

Color is one thing. I could live with a green blaster effect. But why a spikey ball?

Yes, this has me confused. My DH-17s were energy and fired a red bolt. My E-11 is energy also and fires neon green spider webs.
The only info in the main CU docs is Energy=Red Kinetic=blue

No clue.....particle effects are supposed to be a cool new feature.....and have a purpose, but most things are quite unfinished at this stage.
