it may not be true to the weapon but it very very cool looking
maybe if they shifted the animation from the carbine to the DXR6 it would be more suitable

TA, do you think you could do a little Corr persuasion, and maybe get them to switch the particle effects?
Pretty please?

I'm filling out the survey's, but I don't think that's enough.

May I politely second that motion? The effect is very nice... on another weapon. The E-11 is one of the very few weapons in Star Wars that I think most people remember the color of the beam to. This effect would be very welcome on any carbine that did not appear in the movies, but is very much out of place on the E-11.
Thanks!

Damage Types are color coded for tactical purposes in combat.
but the e11 is just plain energy... no elemental.

Yeah and who says they are done tweaking the E11?
Who says they didn't put that particle effect in just to test it for putting it on another weapon?
With only about 5% of the CU to test, lets not jump to conclusions on what will go LIVE.

I was thinking that today, maybe they were testing the effects.. cant really see LucasArts being happy with that big a departure from a Movie gun..
In a way it makes some sense, since no one is certed they can test the effects earlier by popping them on a gun temporarily
and with that said.. the green stuff would be perfect coming from the Geo Carbine. Im hoping thats what they are doing.

Hardly any of the weapons look very starwars like now
All the new effects look like they were copied strait from a fantasy game....

E11 is a dissappointment.
First, it shouldnt spray green balls.
Second, it shouldnt be a noob weapon.

Hope this was a mistake.

No one has mentioned the sound of it yet either.... at least it isn't the "squeaky wheel" sound we here on the rest of the carbines and pistols that I have heard so far. The DL44 actually (to me at least) on live sounded like the DL44 Han Solo fired off and seemed to match and be replaced with the (eek eek eek sound). The E11 now has the sound I tend to remeber most about the HAR or FWG5 pistol.
I do realize this is beta and they could be testing, but glad people are bringing this stuff up incase the Devs decide to think, "Well no one complained about it, so it must be ok".
I'll be glad when they get these elite trainers in though, ready to start up on my commando and carbineer testing.
