Thread: my new elite carbine, comments?

just got a new carbine, stats are sliced (for damage) with a 16/32 damage powerup.
elite carbine
damage: 204-360
speed: 3.7(I'm a master carbineer/bh 0430, so I hit the speed cap with any carbine)
range mods: -60/+61/-50
ham: I'm not sure about the health or mind costs, but the action cost is 95.
comments?

Mine is 157/354 damage, so this is very nice. And mine got a freakin' speed slice.......grrrrrrr

LOL on the HAM. That is pretty insane, but with buffs it doesnt matter. Nice lookin gun though. Im jealous because my speed is so terrible, I wouldnt even be able to weild this thing effectively

Mine is pretty much exaclty the same. I know mine is 366 max (with powerup), 3.9 speed and +77 at ideal, but that's all I can remember. I'm loving it , having a hell of a lot of fun with it in PvP.

Not to put you down...but I think you can do a bit better if you continue to shop around. I say that from the point of view of "must have the best possible carbine." You have a very nice carbine but if you so desire you can improve.
My PvP elite is a 205-315 elite @ 3.7 reload with +51 at ideal. This is damage-sliced and no powerups. I use a +33%min damage/+16% speed powerup which brings this bad-boy to 272-315 at 3.1 reload. My elite carbine is a great example of what you can do with a simple scoped/stocked elite given an awesome slice. If you have the cash, buy a bulk order of elites off a good weaponsmith then have a master smuggler slice all of them. Keep the best and sell off the ones that don't work out for you. Speed-sliced carbines are very valuable to carbineers not using extensive speed tapes or dabbling in bounty hunter.

If your on Chilastra, Monroe's vendor has sliced, stocked Elites and crates of unsliced elites. Mine is around 210-410 with 33/16 powerup. Never heard of using a min damage powerup though.

oh u must use a min powerup with an elite for pvp. makes the dps better

minimum is a must in pvp because of mitation

havOc, eola is on ahazi and makes excellent elite carbines (although, mine did have "advanced" in its name).

I really like my old Krayt Elite. its 164-319 dmg at 3.1 speed. Its unstocked and unscoped so its has nice low ham costs. With a 33% max dmg pu it hits about 425 max dmg.

How did you all get your minimum damage up so high? My Elite was made with a Imperial stock and is:
2.7 speed, 190-408 (21% damage slice (eek) with 33% max 16% min powerup.)
It was supposed to help with damage mitigation, but in most cases, Im better off with a Laser Carbine. Naturally, a minimum damage powerup can be used, but looking at the stats, you seem to achieve it without it.
