Thread: Wow... i'm shocked

I've never been a carbineer before, so I never really thought much of the speed modifier problems..

I am just grinding it out atm... I am speechless, it is rediculous how little speed we get =/

i can speed cap cripple shot...

at master, with +17 carbine spped attatchments(SP)....on my 1.1 speed krayt DH17 snub-nose

Ayami - MCH since september '03 and until NGE.
The removal of CH and the NGE in general is the dumbest thing a company has ever done. period.
CH deserves to stay, and SOE deserves to be *#&$^#*@ until they are #*&$& and then *#&$ some more!

Actually a Master Carbineer fires our slowest Specials at exactly the Weapon Speed.....very sad indeed....

Well the Speed Formula is getting changed totally.....so we may stay the same and everybody else move....won't know any details until we spend some time on the Sandbox.


And if you don't make it into the Beta, then you will have to wait until it hits TC to know......the NDA and all

Regardless of how it finally shakes out, it is an issue we will be pushing hard (along with a dozen or so other things)once this thing kicks off and hopefully will have something to show for it when it launches.

Well I kinda like to avoid talking details or what MAY happen, but rest assured the OUT OF BALANCE issues will be taken care of or "there will be hell to pay" by the Devs....

BTW, with BH you can speed cap any carbine, nothing like hammering away with cripple shot, on a dizzy/kd'd def stacker, with a 600 damage laser carb

I have 3 600 damage Lasers that I Speed Cap on without anything in BH.....


Two of those I don't even need my FS Skills either

I got a new 704 max damage one (w/ pup) today.. 3.4 speed, but easily capped with the FS branches.

As an avid carbineer I'll be fighting hard to see that we get a fair deal in the combat balance too.

Hehe,
master rifle got 90 speed, master carbiner got 60 speed.
Rifles intended to be snipers with slow but accure shots and carbines should be the assault troop with fast burst shoots. This is ridiculous.

It's okay they had to "balance" with BH, but for a non BH carbineer, who spent the same SP for the master profession as a rifleman this is a pain. With +10 (with master marksman only +5) tape, and riflemen are on speed cap with any weapon. A non BH Carbineer would need +40 for that (+35 with marksman). This is simply s*cks.
