Thread: Top 5 Good Things about Carbineer.

I did not know what to say without repeating things others have said a million times for the Carbineer issues thread. So, instead I decided to expand on the 5 things I love the most about Carbineer profession:

1) Defence Bonuses - This is by far the best thing about our profession. We actually get around1/3 of defence mods ofPistoleers!

2) Specials - lets see... I think that most Carbine specials are great. My favorite oneis the Charge Shot (this is when my character raises his hand, runs forward, does about 50 dmg to enemy, does about 100 dmg to my action pool, knocks the enemy down for about 0.1 sec, and delays my next movefor about 10 times that long) There are numerous other good ones. However, I have to say that Legshot 3 needs looking into - I mean it does not do any less damage then LegShot2!! In reality, it does same damage. What the heck !? Decrease the damage soon please.

3) HAM costs - The coolest thing to do while fighting is to watch the green bar under my name race agains the enemy's red one. I know it may be hard for some of you to believe this, but sometimes I actually manage to hold it off enought thata whole30% of the targets life is gone by the time it drains!! Makes me feel like I trully acomplish something on such ocasions.

4) Variety of guns one can use - So many choices, I can never decide which gun to buy. Laser Carbine, or laser carbine, or Laser carbine, or maybe evern laser Carbine. Never have enought money for them all.

5) I love stopping while running away because something melee 100m away just aggroed on me. It makes the running away much more interesting and challenging. Will I reach this next hill before I die or maybe that next one?

very nice post, also some of the things I think is quite funny.

1) Its quite fun to look at combat logs and see that you actually hurt yourself more than the mob did, via the use of your specials. I wear composite armor and can buff myself, but generally the rebel specops fail to hit me harder than my own specials hurt me. In pvp this gets even worse, got eyespammed by a bh average hit was around 40, legshot hurts my mind way more than that.

2) Its also fun to see how consistent your misses are when a mob is running towards you, I'm usually able to pull off 3-4 special misses while the mob is charging me (this of course depends on the run speed of the mob). I kinda like teleportation as I have a bigger chance of hitting the mob at point blank than when its moving towards me.

3) Most fun I've had in "pvp" was in the med center, someone asked me to kill him. After a few specials I was closer to incap than he was.

4) I like the fact that the key issue to killing certain classes like commando(flamethrower) and Bounty Hunter (llc) means that you should never stop moving around - I mean how many misses before you give up stand still and let him bbq you/electrocute you?

Anyways who said the carbineer wasn't fun, I mean not many classes can say they hit consistently for at least 100 in pvp no armor res will help there.

LOL, happen to me a couple of times now. The guy thatI tried to kill thought it was super hilarious seeing me using stim to heal myself cause he didn't shoot a thing. pppffftt what does he know.

And not to mention when someone asked me, "Dude you just did 1 dmg with your scatter blast!". And I replied "Sweet isn't it".

Btw, chargeshot1 has the most cool animation in the whole game.

Funny I don't even have to use an AoE for that, just use burst shot on one mob, and they all come running.

2) scatter shot 2

3)Relatively highdamage

4) Specials use very little mind

5) Action pool targetting ( a BH spamming eyeshot drains his action pool like crazy and can be one shot easilly)

6) Only 92 pts to master...

#5: It's very reassuring to hear from doctors, Ch's, and Bh's that the class isn't broken and that everything is alright. Makes me feel all warm and glowy.

#4: There is almost no chance of us getting nerfed. Again.

#3: My buddies grinding for medical xp Love me.

#2: My carbine is so "Elite" that only an earthstaggering genius can explain the superiority of it's low damage and barrel bottom scraping AR.

#1: When people ask me why I'm lying on my back bleeding I can say "Because I'm a Marauder!"

Yeah I've noticed that most our specials use very little mind, with the legshot being the one that uses most mind. But since these specials drain so much health and action in the end you'll actually have a quite nasty mind usage.
