Hi, im 0000 rifleman, and love it so far. Anyway, I want to get teh sniper tree, cause of the accuracy, but do you think i should get conceal shot first to help me along the way? Does conceal shot work every time? If i use conceal shot into a social mob will the firends aggro on me? thanks.

I'd definately get ConcealShot first, it really helps with soloing. I think it fails if you miss more than once or something? Maybe it depends on your Rifle Concealment Chance. But with Conceal Shot I can solo pretty much everything. Because of ConcealShot's targeting of random HAM pools, not just mind, it can be a bit mind-draining to kill a mob but thats easily fixed with some food or drugs.

If you have a bit of CH so you can use a rock beetle or similar pet, I'd go up Counter-Sniping tree first for FlushingShot2...this will let you do ravenous torton missions on Rori, they pay 10k and are great xp, send in your beetle to attack the lair and then use flushingshot2 to attack all the tortons at once, the xp will flow freely.

Conceal shot is not nessary but it is a fun shot.

The first thing you should do is go 1-1-0-x, this gives you mind shot 2 a nice bleedinshot and ofcourse conceal shot a fun shot at any level. After you do that go 1-1-3-x, this gives you your first AOE Flushing Shot 2. With this shot you can hit multiple targets with heavy damage and you just run through the grind of XP. After that master how ever you want, the hardest part of the grind is over.

if you want to lvl fast listen to me on im 2nd day of grind and im 3-4-3-3

do the following:

techniques 1-3
footwork 1-4
grips 1-4
techniques 4
- combat row just goes with it...

this allows you to have mitigration 3 along with body hit 3 so ur doin great dmg in one pool so you can kill fast

footwork 4 u think u need first but you cant target a single pool for good dmg aka it takes longer

grips is great on defense and area dizzy is nice along with scatter hit 2

techniques 4 is just more dodge and can wait for last

if you do well plz email me in game under osco odawa i want to hear how ur doin

From the FAQ:

Without accuracy, you cannot hit your target. Without speed, you will fire too slow to kill effectively. Thus, it is recommended to advance up the Assault (x000) and Marksmanship (0x00) trees first. Many players recommend leveling both Assault and Marksmanship at the same time but recommend taking the Assault boxes first. The exception to this is the 4th box in the Marksmanship line, Master Masksmanship. Many players recommend taking this before Master Assault because of the significant accuracy gain in this box. In addition, it is important to note that the last line, Carbine Special Abilities (000x) levels off Combat Experience instead of Carbine Experience. Thus, level the last tree whenever you have enough experience.

The recommended path of advancement is:

100x 110x 210x 220x 320x 330x 340x 440x 444x

Some players recommend taking as the first box the Counterinsurgency box (0010). This gives access to the special burstshot1. Burstshot1 has the advantages (over fullautosingle2 gained in the novice box) that is has decent damage, decent speed and low HAM costs. If you do not have the means to deal with the high HAM costs of fullautosingle2, it is recommended to take this box so you have access to this low HAM special.
