Absolutely with a PU.....but a SAC PU ![]()
My best E11 Mk.2 is 5.0 without a SAC PU and 6.9 with a SAC PU. Sorry for not making that clear in the original post, but I was trying to help analyze Carbines along with PU's too.

I need to do some more testing with Speed PU's to see if the Cooldown Timers are affected or if they render them useless.
The formula is nice for a quick gun appraisal, but I have to respectfully dissagree withit a little. Another consideration that needs to be made, is how fast the gun is for sac purposes. I'm not sure if I can explain myself well, so here's an example of what I mean: you have two guns with equal dps and sac, but one is faster with lower damage,the otheris more damaging and slower. I would go for the higher damage any day, because I will be doing more damage per sac. The faster gun will be doing the same dps but because it's faster you will be draining action faster.
Alright I brainstormed for a little but I don't really like the ways I came up with to fit this into the formula. I'll try and think about it more...
The first thing that came to mind was dps/sps (sac per second), but that just leaves damage/sac, and I don't really like that. Maybe the best thing would be to look at it like a ratio, just dps:sps. That way you can still see your damage over time, but also get a better look at you sac consumption, because both are nearly equally important.

Sac Pup = 6.59 sorry this is wrong its actually 7.34
Damage Pup = 5.86
Speed Pup = 8.01
My elite carb:
unpuped 5.27
speed pup 8.10
dmg 5.58
balanced dmg 6.01
sac 7.60
with sac pup -30% sac/ -10 acc(i almost dont use any other ... E11MK2 is too fast and nyms has too high sac)
E11MK2 - 7.8

You are absolutely right.....IF the Speed had much to do with how fast you fire, which is a big question at this point. Let me modify my original post, don't know why I missed that /slap self;
I started using this type of formula on Sabers and I did DPS and FPS, Force Per Second, ratio to compare different Pearls and Gen of Sabers. The same comparison can be used for all weapons.
