265 with my carbine.
Master defender template has 300 ranged defense I could hardly land a shot on this guy.

The real problem is Force Aura which gives the jedi annother 500 defense.

Dont forget that with just one tree of Healer, the handful of shots you do land will be entirely worthless.
Oh, and as soon as the FRS comes back online, we will see Master Defender, Master Lightsaber, Healer 3xxx and some change in Enhancer with 85% saberblock too....1.5x stronger my hairy arse.

FRS is done with, no need to worry about anything better than 25% block (+defender stuff).

Odd that, seeing a sthe Jedi seemed to think it came back in pub 17, although it may not have done, and the devs will be bringing it back, if they dont they would piss off their precious Jedi.

they use aura and get 500 defense... you eat accuracy food get 500 accuracy... so thats a worthless jedi skill, then you buy a few SEA's get your accuracy to 350 and how hard can it be? i don't really hunt jedi but i think Mdefenders are killable, you just have to be skilled, and luck always helps

If you run Duelist Stance you get a decent boost to defenses for a short time. Useless once the fight starts, of course, as you have to stand still during the warmup to get it to activate, and if you dont keep kiting the Jedi will saberthrow KD you and you lose.
Not all Jedi templates are unbalanced. Some are even the actual 1.5x that the devs wanted, however others are shockingly overpowered.
If you have Master Defender, Healing 4xxx(even 3xxx) and the Avoid Incap skill, you are unbeatable. Why? Well, lets say, somehow, the BH attacking manages to get health low, the Jedi simply hits avoid incap(that's if he can get past a 600/10 sec HoT and 1600 heals constantly). In the very rare instance a BH managed to keep fighting(or keep up with) the Jedi until Avoid Incap runs out, and then beat him back down(through the HoT and massive heals) and actually incap the Jedi, by the time he runs into range and starts the Deathblow warmup, the Jedi is on his feet, healed and either beating the crap out of the BH or forcerunning to his house.
Fair enough, maybe the devs intend for one BH to be mincemeat against a full template Jedi, but when you start hearing about the same thing happening when three BHs take on a target with that template, even Jedi have to admit something is wrong.

Hate to break it to you, but it has been stated that the FRS will give Jedi more saber block as they move up the ranks.

With force valor you get +25 more block so a Padawan can get up to 50% saber block quite easily.
