If you run Duelist Stance you get a decent boost to defenses for a short time. Useless once the fight starts, of course, as you have to stand still during the warmup to get it to activate, and if you dont keep kiting the Jedi will saberthrow KD you and you lose.
Not all Jedi templates are unbalanced. Some are even the actual 1.5x that the devs wanted, however others are shockingly overpowered.
If you have Master Defender, Healing 4xxx(even 3xxx) and the Avoid Incap skill, you are unbeatable. Why? Well, lets say, somehow, the BH attacking manages to get health low, the Jedi simply hits avoid incap(that's if he can get past a 600/10 sec HoT and 1600 heals constantly). In the very rare instance a BH managed to keep fighting(or keep up with) the Jedi until Avoid Incap runs out, and then beat him back down(through the HoT and massive heals) and actually incap the Jedi, by the time he runs into range and starts the Deathblow warmup, the Jedi is on his feet, healed and either beating the crap out of the BH or forcerunning to his house.
Fair enough, maybe the devs intend for one BH to be mincemeat against a full template Jedi, but when you start hearing about the same thing happening when three BHs take on a target with that template, even Jedi have to admit something is wrong.
yah i thought it was 500... only 270... still helpful. and duelist stance last about 20 or 30 seconds so its good for the start of the fight. avoid incap is an insane skill that isn't balanced, so yah that ones unfair.
