Ok so Elites just became available a short while ago on Starstrider, and I came across one that seems.. halfway decent.

Stats are as follows

Speed - 3.7

Min Damage - 121

Max Damage - 204

Range Mods -35/+11/-50

HAM costs 30/48/24

I know the speed sucks - and I'm fairly sure this elite was sliced for damage(as most other elites I've seen are around the same stats with lower damage by a bit). However that min damage is pretty darn high, and so is max. The range mod is great for ideal +11 is highest Ive seen on a carbine. HAM costs are roughly the same as a laser.

Seems like a decent gun? I think maybe if Elites were made faster, or less HAM, it would suprass a laser.

Unfortantly its for sale for 30k, which I dont feel like paying.

Looks a lot like my elite, it's 119-225 dmg, 33% sliced for dmg and speed is 2.9. I'd say you got ana elite you'll actually use.

all about the resources, my server just lucky when on resources and/or the weoponsmith I got it from got lucky on experimentation. mine isn't made from Krayt tissue so I. The range mods are fairly the same on any elite I've seen. HAM is usally at 24/45/22. But try laying prone when firing in combat. i"ve noticed you'll fire about 2x as Fast. Enjoy your carbine man

Talked to a weaponsmith, and seems the materials are still bad for the elite.

I got me one too, like this

Damage: 96-160

Speed: 3.6

HAM: 28/48/23 (not too sure)

This hasn't been sliced or anything, but I'd imagine if we actually got a good shift of the stuff needed for the elite then we might just get an alternate weapon for the laser carbine, maybe.

At least a new good weapon, could help ease the pain of the state we are in, so please elite carbine ressources for all servers.

well, the elite carbine as is it canbe very very nice. when made properly. i just bought a very nice one for only 7500. 156 - 197 damage, 3.3 speed, and hams are something like 23/36/15. thats all unsliced. I like it since it has a very close range of damage. only thing that would make me use this almost exclusivly would be AP2. if it had that i would completly drop my lasor carbine.

i dont rember the range mods exactly, but point blank was -20ish idea at 40 was +20ish and max at 64 was -30ish

Man...I'd love an elite like that. The speed is just fine with the right speed mods and after they add the 2 second speed cap to carbines they are talking about it will be just fine.

I might have to take it on myself to find that ore needed for the elite in good quality. I shouldput out a bounty on a spot.

I have an elite but got a 19% slice so it's not as good as it should of been... right now it's 3.6 and 120 to 204. Should of been alot more... my range is -35 @ 0 +48 @ 40m's and -40 @65..... it has a scope, and my aiming is pretty good so I have the +48 lol,

I've been using only carbines with scope for better aim since that patch where u miss alot, I use this elite just to get 1 good shot in, or when I'm on the move (running).

you don't feel like paying 30k for it? well neither do i, its still a **edit**ty gun.

actually tho 30k isnt that much. i usually have more than that in the bank, and would be willing to pay it for a good weapon. too bad no elites fit the bill atm
