Sorry if its already been asked and cleared but I searched for the answer and came up blank.

Just wondering how Radius on the EE3 works. Every EE3 I've seen is 3.0 . Pretty low compared to a Rocket Launcher's 11.

So is that 3 meters? I have noticed no splash damage of any type. I assume it is bugged.

hmmm? it is what Boba used. If it worked, It would be a good ranged answer vs. sabre block

Even if the Radius worked or was large enough to matter.....I don't see how it would affect SaberBlock.

If it unfairly bypassed SaberBlock, then it would be nerfed in a matter of minutes....

Dont think its unfair really. Someone huntin Jedi has to have tools specific to killing Jedi. I see where you were heading with it though and the amount of damage would be incredible to an unarmored person or knight.

Why would the damage be "incredible"? All the Radius means is an AoE shot of whatever Special you are using at the time....nothing special excepting hitting other targets within the radius.

Think of it as a smallcone of fire 3m wide. Now think of a lightsaber blade thats maybe 1 inch wide. Now subtract the 1 inch from the 3m.

Essentially think about the scatter pistol and the way the shots come out. Yeah you can block 2 of them but the other 4 will hit you. Same way I'm thinking about the EE3 radius. The EE3 was Boba Fett's weapon of choice it seemed and I'm surprised it wasn't put in the BH tree's as a specific weapon type.

Even if you blocked 25% of the damage a double tap of crippleshot would still do some serious damage on an unarmored opponent (including the 75% pvp reduction).

I can't imagine the EE3 ever working like that....makes no sense to have a "cone of fire 3m wide". Shots don't have width where part of the shot isn't blocked, the server probably can't support such a thing. Forget the graphics of the FullAuto Weapons, it is just one shot per second......its not like FullAutoArea can hit 7 times, even though the animation fires 7 shots.

I think the radius effect wouldbe agreat way to make the carbineer profession more unique. It would distiguish the carbineer profession as a group attacker as opposed to rifleman and pistoleer singe targets.

Has it been decided whether its going to be fixed/removed?

Nothing is decided on it until you see the Combat Upgrade hit TC.....

Carbineer Distinction comes from our Specials mainly. I would rather have a unique Special or two that I can use with any Carbine instead of having a Weapon Special Ability.

EE3 is heat damage. Cone of flame maybe? Oooo, working into commando territory now

Yeah, they'd have to hard code it into the system like defenses (sorta like how you can smack someone in the back of the head but they can still block it)

I'm bored and sleepy and waiting for the servers to go back online.
