Thread: Thinking of going BH carbine with master carbine...opinions?
I was Master Carbinier and had 3 boxes of carbine in the BH tree. Was great, chargeshot1, firekd and thats about it
.. Also, specials had no delay, but unfortunately you kill your self pretty quick unless buffed.

Does anyone know if there is a cap to accuracy? If there isn't a cap I would assume the template rocks. But if there is a cap wouldnt it be a waste to beamaster carbineer and bh 0-4-0-0? The speed bonuses will definitley be wasted as the slowest carbine can be maxed speeded at around 80 I think.
Any answer or a link that got an answer to the first question is greatly appreciated.
No, there is no accuracy cap, which makes this template very good.
I am currently BH 0/4/0/0 Carbineer 0/3/3/3, and I'm loving it. I can't decide whether to go Master Carbineer and BH 3/4/0/0 (When PC bountys are introduced and fixed, it will be very fun), or Master Carbineer BH 0/3/0/0 with novice medic. So far I'm loving confusion shot... but I'm also loving medic, lol. Gonna have to give one up eventually ![]()
Anyway, with this template (Master Carb BH 0/4/0/0), you end up with:
+190 Carbine Accuracy
+40 Carbine Accuracy while moving
+115 Carbine Speed (caps at +100, you automatically shoot at 1.0, no matter what the speed on the gun or what special you use)
+105 Counter Attack
+42 Ranged Defense
Two KDs, one of which you can use over and over, a 7.0 damage modifier special (crippling shot) that, if your using the right gun, will cut through buffed HAMs quickly. You also have Burst1 if you don't want the huge drain for less damage. FullAutoSingle2 and Wildshot stun and confuse, both of which come in handy, but you already have that with Confusion shot, which stuns, confuses, and dizzys. When the fix CS2, we will also have a AoE KD, I'm looking forward to that.
This template is great against melee professions because of two things: BH (Master Scout) and CS1. With CS1, you can just keep them knocked down, they can't chase after you. Since there is no KD timer, just keep doing it. With Master Scout, you get a quite long Burst Run and can stay at bay with ease.
A few other things...
You will want two guns for PvP: A stocked Elite Carbine and a DH17Short.
When your buffed, use the stocked Elite Carbine and spam Cripple. Even if they are buffed, it will incap them quick.
When your not buffed, use your DH17 short and take a hit of BoH (+521 (give or take, depending on the chef)to all drain rates). With this set-up, you can spam Cripple Shot even not being buffed. If you are un-buffed, and your opponenet is buffed, you're going to have a hard time taking him down with this DH17. But that's just common sense: Don't get yourself into those situations.
Buy a good Stocked Elite and DH17Short until you get a good damage slice, like 28% or above. They are so cheap, that you can probably just keep doing it until you get over 30%. For your Stocked Elite, you'll want to use +16% min damage +33% max damage power-ups, and for your DH17Short use +33% minimum damage power-ups. This is because the minimum damage on the DH17Short is fairly low, and you want to bring it up because of damage mitigation.

Thanks man I been wondering for a long time whether there was an accuracy cap or not. Been searching the forums but its tuff to find the answer when using the word accuracy.
