Thread: which is better for lvling up scatter shot 2 or cripple shot
i still got so many different responses,,,ppl say scatter b/c of speed .. ppl say cripple b/c of damage..
does the speed of scatter out weigh the damage of cripple shot??
thus making it the better skill to lvl up with..?>?>?>?
For leveling up:
BURST shot.
Scatter is ok.
Cripple shot is a good move, but you need a fast carbine speed to pump out cripples.
I use cripple in PvP a lot though. ![]()
Level off FA2 till burstshot1, then burstshot1 till scattershot2 (using scattershot1 as a mind hit to help polish off a low mind), then scattershot2 for the rest of the profession.
burstshot1, all the way
after you get burst1, go up the assault tactics tree first, because faster is better. but burstshot is the single best xp skill we get
if you are xp'ingina group,i would use scattershot2 for the simple reason that the damage to multiple ham bars tends to give you more xp. this is important when you have commandos and BHsin your group doing most of the damage and thus getting most of the xp.
However, Speed is worthless without Accuracy. Shoot twice as fast +hit half as much = FAST DEATH.

marksman line is worthless without speed. what good is accuracy if youre rate of fire is 3.x ?
If i did it over again i think i would stagger the speed and marksmanship lines if anything but no way i would do the marksmanship line first.
To that end i decided on a more useful route that seems to be making more sense to me and helping me gain xp much faster....
Train up Assault and Marksmanship trees simultaneously.
So you're getting the extra speed, with the extra marksmanship.
It's working out for me real nice so far.
I fire fast, i hit more, i kill quicker.

What good is speed if you don't hit. Stay out of your targets range, let something tank and hit your target.
You get xp for the number of times you hit, not how fast you hit.
i got 0-3-0-0 (out of skil points) and i love crip shot, when i was hunting at fort tusken i was warlord after warlord in 2-3 shots, got well over 300k in less then 2 hours
