While there is certainly merit to going either the accuracy tree or the speed tree I think it depends on your style of play. If you're going to do a lot of soloing and you don't have a pet to tank get accuracy first because the mob will spend 90% of its time in your face and that = big negative to your accuracy at point blank. However, if you have a person/pet to tank for you get the speed line first since then you can work more so in your ideal range.
