Dude the most effective killer is a MBH and MC.. because you get a good mix with long rang and upclose and personal... If you keep Rifles you are limited to distace attacks, and the upclose and personal's.. which most Jedi are... will whip your behind.. you need to be balanced for the JEDI are cunning and trixi...

master carbs have better attacks for hunting jedi.Rifles are too slow for the specials to be any good for anything
other than an opening shot.

Aoccdrnig to a rcsheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy,it doesn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are,the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm.Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef but the wrod as a wlohe.Amzanig huh!

Having never played carbineer before and really being drawn to it like a moth to a flame, can you tell me more about the specials in carbineer?

I currently use a lot of headshot, but the dmg is not overpowering with that. I am sure carbineer will have somethin that equals or betters headshot. Snipershot does nothing for me, cos I mainly hunt Mobs and not Jedi. I don't like being prone and that long windup sucks.

Having never been Rifleman, I have no idea how much damage Headshot does, especially not post-CU. But Leg Shot is our most damaging special, hits foraround 1400-1500 with an average carbine I think (in PvE).

Charge Shot is aKD, apretty reliable one to add.

Crippling Shot is a snare. Suppression Fire is an area snare for about 4-5 secs and it's meant to be spammed to keep a group of enemies snared.

Full Auto Area is a damaging area attack as you can tell by the name.

I'm sure others can provide you with more information on specials. I don't really use others than these here.

There is also the most damaging Carbineer shot.. The torso shot.. which causes bleeding... for like 15 hp per sec or something like that.

Im MBH/MC/NovSmug. Which currently allows me to do some uber croud control in mass pvpand with a good krayt carb w/ PUPs. I can kill krayt dragons, gorax, nightsisters, ect faster than most rifleman to top it off. Its a great blend of speed, damage, sac, specials, defense, and range. Flexablility is one of the most valuable tools out there and carbshas it.

I wouldn't really call Torso Shot damaging. Just a DoT Shot that causes bleeding for 45 pts each 10 secs.

could someone explain further on how these specials are better than rifles(for BHs at least)? BH already has a KD(underhand), snare(not sure if its from BH or rifles, but either way, aditional snare is not needed) and hunting jedi requires no area attacks.... I am not trying to argue, but I would like to see how it is better

Improved Charge shotlands more often then Underhand shot. Crippling shot actually works, Kneecap shot seems to do little to nothing at the moment.
