So... I was feeling brave and decided to get my Krayt Enhanced E-11 Sliced. Turns out I got a 30% damage slice on it, yay! Props to Jerrack for the uber slice. Here it is with a +33max/+16min PuP:

lol, maybe. Pity about the damage spread. Its a sweet PvE carbine, but its got the same issues as the Laser when you try using it on another player.

Is there a reason why everybody uses min-max powerups? It seems to me that by reading how important speed is for carbineers people would be more interested in a speed-min or speed-max powerup, or every a HAM reduction powerup (seeing how people always complain about HAM costs of carbines)... Am I missing something?

I personally prefer 32% Min damage power ups for my PvP carbines.

Those typically run 32% Min dmg/16% Mind Cost, which is awesome because after buffing, Mind is all the HAM I lose to shots.

Interesting choice.....this advantage is solely in the Mind Cost.....

On an identical speed weapon, 200-350 damage, the DPS with Mitigation 3.....
Max/Min PU....278 DPS
Min/Mind PU...281 DPS

So not much damage difference but I like the idea of reduced Mind cost. Althought Canape and Musician buffs take care of that....but reducing a Canape could bring other Food into play....
