No craftable kin carbines....Yeh so much for having all the damage types.
Can loot some decent ones but they wont stack up to a well crafted energy with good componets. The extra damage you can do with a 54 energy carbine is just so much greater than all but the best looted kin carbines its not worth it...and the sac will be higher on the looted if you have good speed you will only get a few shots off.

I beg to differ, guys. 
The original poster is an MBH so he can use a Czerka Dart, which is an excellent kinetic carbine. It's also craftable so if you find appropriate enhancers it can get quite good and easily better than the Nyms.

As good as this Nym's Slugthrower?
Speed: 2.25
Damage: 352-703
Elemental: Acid
Elemental Damage: 171
Wound: 1.7%
Base DPS: 310.22 / sec (For the DPS whores. It's really a useless number, IMO)
SAC: 82
It's been ADK'd and I was awarded a slightly better Slugthrower very recently. Didn't Screenshot it yet for the stats.

Guildy got a Dart Carb today 500-900something unsliced without a Pup.

Better than that. I've seen plenty of Czerkas posted on this forum that have max damage in the 900's. Makes me wish I was a BH sometimes.

I feel your pain, Quandry. Sometimes this can feel like the BH forum more than the Carbineer forum, and I didn't like contributing to that feel, but the guy was an MBH so I figured I'd give it to him straight.

Hello all, I am a MBH/MCM who is thinking of going up the Accuracy line of Carbineer but first was wondering if there was a level 54 Kinetic Carbine to match the High Capacity Scatter that I'd be giving up. I wouldn't mind using an Elite Carbine with the Energy damage but I have some looted Scopes I'd like to use and this would render it useless. So how about it - is there a high-level kinetic carbine?

new nyms slugthrowers can get pretty good stats and are kinetic, i have one which is over 300dps.

Are these craftable? If not how do I go about getting one if I already have one from Pre-CU?

Aye, just head straight to the installation and you can pickup the parts to hand over for a new Nyms.
I think the lack of a Carbineer Kinetic Craftable (try saying that after a few pints), is our one 'weakness', would be nice to be able to be able to turn an elite or a Mark II into a kinetic version, but personally I'd rather see a new gun cl50/54 that doesn't require a non Carbineer skil

We don't rate a CL54 / Master level Carbine.
There are no Kinetic Ranged Weapons at CL54 or requiring a Master certification.
