Doh, no edit button. I have seen you guys say 'shoot with gun X till i get a bleed'. I have no idea how you can tell when a bleed starts..could someone please fill me in.

Also, is there anything in particular you can do to promote your chance of a bleed ? Increase you wound chance ?

Thanks for you help in advance guys.

A bleed is a damage-over-time effect, caused by Action Shot 1 or 2, and its close brethren Mind Shot or Health Shot. (The difference is which type of pool is "bleeding".) When you hit a target with one of these skills, you'll see an icon appear up in your target box, one that looks like red drops of blood next to one another. There will be no initial effect. However, if you wait for a few seconds, the target will take some damage, as the "over time" part kicks in. The target will continue to take damage for some time (I'm not sure how long - most targets die due to the constant pounding plus the bleed effect.

Bleeds are fairly useless against easy targets, but are VERY useful against more dangerous foes, especially when combined with the attack line that targets the bleeding pool (in the case of carbines, Leg Shot 1 or 2).

Hope this helps!

bleeding is one of most important skills, it can enable you to take down a 6k+ target without dying, you most likely will come close but chances are if you are incaped he will bleed and die.

Ok, I have noticed several people talking about stacking bleeds. I had always assumed that you could HS1 and HS2 to get two bleeds, however, if you score a hit from each will you see TWO Bleeding states on the mob's condition bar?

Second, I read someone saying they stacked FIVE bleeds, is that possible? How do you know how many bleeds you have on the mob?

Thanks in advance.

You won't see more bleeding states on the action bar.

The one way you know if you've landed more than one bleed is to look at the combat window or just to keep track in your head.

If your friend stacked five bleeds he is probably a Master Marksman.

Ok something hit me today on Bleeds. Do melee bleeds stack with gun bleeds? I know Health Shot 1 and 2 stack, so I was wondering if you had a health bleed from a fener + health shot 1 + health shot 2, would they all stack the damage for the bleed? same question goes for the other bars like mind/action

dunno

The attic was less to us from the cellar the bones like the attic let them have it let them stay in the attic. When they sometimes come down the stairs at night and stand perplexed behind the door and headboard of the bed brushing that chalky skull with chalky fingers with sounds like the dry rattling of a shutter. Thats what I sit up in the dark to say.

They stack with everything. Only one icon shows up, but I believe you can even stack them with your own attacks. (like health hit I and II stack). I don't use either that much because im usually killed before it matters =)

All bleeds stack as long as it is not from the same move, so fencer's, pistoleer, BH's, commando's etc.....all stacks!!! btw, commando got flame single 1 and 2, flame cone 1 and 2, so they can stack 4 burns together.
