Thread: Question about Bleeds
This may be a stupid question, but do Health Hit 1 and 2 actually cause a target to bleed like Bleeding Shot, or are they referred to as "bleeds" for some other reason? I thought they just affected constitution and strength, and thereforeare just decreasing regen rates and increasing the HAM cost of special moves.
I am a Master Marksman and a couple hundred apprenticeship xp from Master Scout, and am curious about this b/c I was planning on going BH for bleeding shot (and the cool LLC effect).Recently I've beeninto one-handed weapons (I enjoy watching my character use a curved sword much more than a pistol) and afencer/pisoleeror fencer/riflemancombo is starting to seem more interesting to me. I'm close to One-handed 4 now and my standard PvE strategy (I'm not into PvP) is to use Dizzy 1, Lunge 1, and then Body Hit 1. I guess adding a Health Shot 1would be more effective.

I don't believe that the wound chance effects the bleed skills. The wound chance is the chance to cause a wound to the target and turn that bar partially black. Not much of a factor in PvE since MOBs don't really heal themselves but can be of some importance in PvP.
There are some suggestions though that the wound chance effects the chance of causing the 1 point bleed associated with ConcelShot.
The bleed damage is determined by the damage of the hit itself.
