Thread: Need help with my template

Hey all,


I'm working on my character template. I am going to be a master entertainer, and hit the top branch in musical knowledge as well. This will give me all songs, except for the musician master. I'm going to be a master smuggler, and the remaining points i have left will go to pistoleer.


I will have enough points left to get the fourth tier of one line, and the third tier of another. My question is this;


Which line in the pistoleer treeshould I take to the fourth tier, and which to the third?

Id suggest taking the Stances and Grips Line, and the third tier in the Expert Pistol Special Abilities. That way, you'll have fan shot, stopping shot, and pistol melee defense 2. You'll also get the defense bonuses from both these trees.

I was actually leaning towards this. The pistol melee defense skill isn't as big a deal to me as most, as smugglers already have a good knockdown. But, the defense bonuses look attractive.


So, is Fan Shot worth the exp?

Actually I would recommend the marksman and grips lines. And yes fan shot is good. With your smuggler already having a knockdown another knockdown will not do you as much good as having the accuarcy will. You could have the prime number one shot in the game but if you miss 5 times who cares? The stances line with stopping shot, fan shot and def bounuses is a must.

Master Commando

Smuggler 0010 (feign death)

Fencer 4000

TKA 0004

Novice medic


This gives me maxed out ranged/melee defense

Master commando =)

Healing abilities


What do you guys think?

Sounds like a fun template, high def is great too. I droped all my def and it was only like at 80 each, but wow what a differance.
And you can always get dizzy and KD food.

I may actually go that way. ATM, I'm going towards

Smuggler 0110(Slicing terminals and Feign Death)

But adding in the fencer to max out defense sounds like a superb idea, and if nothing happens to this ungodly horrible "special" attack system by NPC's in which they don't lose HAM or time, I'll probably definately need the medic.

Now I have a Master Carbineer and MBH, but I always like to try something new (as in test different builds on different servers)
