Thread: Need help with my template

Currently my Bothan Bounty Hunter, Terrsk, is BH 0400 |Master Carbineer | 0043 Pistoleer | 0204 Rifleman. Ive been wanting to get MBH(mainly for thetitle, Terrsk is supposed to be a Bothan Bounty Hunter but at the moment hes an Enforcer :-/)| Master Carbineer | Medic.But I feel that would make it very difficult for me in PvP, though it would open up some options. I would have a better special to apply states, ability to spam eye shot on those people with low mind, setting people on fire is always fun, and the LLC is great for PvE. But my defences would dwindle to nothing. I suppose I could bet MBH, put up the title and revert back to my previous template but that would be an awful ammount of work for just a title. So Id like to know if MBH / M Carb could be good, and if there are any out there couldyou give some combat tips and your opinion on the set up. I was also thinking of swapping Medic for Brawler to get intimidate and warcry.

Drop all of Rifleman, drop down to 0-0-4-2 Pistoleer, then pick up Novice Brawler and Novice Medic.





that would totally kill what little defences i have >.<

Ive decided to get MBH / MC Ill test it out for a week or so and if I like it Ill keep it

So far i have plannedMaster Commando and Novice Squad Leader, which leaves me 32 skill points. Where should i put them? Please describe the advantages of placing the points where you have suggested (I have never done SL before and have no idea what the specials do). Thank you.

Tactics 1-4 and Leadership 1-4. You will give a +25 boost to Melee and Ranged defense to group members.


You also get /formup which clears dizzy and stun for all group members(cannot be used if you are dizzy, but it can be used if you are stunned).


You also get /boostmorale which allows you to redistribute wounds evenly among your group. Have a couple TKMs mediatating and using this a few times, bye bye blackbars.


You un up with 4 skill points left over. I got nuthing for that.

Im pretty new at this forum,so if this template or any question regarding it has been posted before im sorry,just point me in the thread's direction

Initially i was going for MLS/MHealer/Enh 4004,but im feeling the wrath of melee damage,so im thinking of going MLS/Healer 4304/Enh 4002/Def4000

Id like to know if the things im missing are too good compared to the things i would be gaining,mainly:


1)Is Master healing(Total Heal Self)too good to miss or is it way too expensive for what it does?

2)Is Enhancer xxx4 a must for LS or is Channel Force more than enough

3)Not sure if Healer xx3x would be better than Enh xxx3,just got 5 extra points and i can only get one of those 2

4)Is there a real difference between Force Run 1 and 2(as i get it Force Run 1 is like burstrun,i hope FOrce Run 2 is better)


Thats all,any help will be appreciated

only 4204 Healer is required for healing BF and Wounds...That might free up some points you would like to use. And for the melee damage force armor helps alot, but it drains quick but if you stash up on holocrons that wont be a problem. But i see you like sticking with force run 2. A good template choice i think for you would be MLS/ M healer/0404 enhance. Force Armor reduces damage alot so you wont have to heal as much...but if they do pack on damage you have all the healing stuff you need. Plus Channel to get back the force you lose.

Sorry forgot to mention.....FR 1 is like burst run. FR 2 is almost as fast as a speederbike...And force run 3 is almost as fast as a swoop.

But if i get Enh 0404 i loose Force Run2,i rather like the idea of being able to get away from a fight gone wrong.Im hoping that with +70 melee defence and healing i will not need armor(and if i do i can always run).My basic question is if Defender 4000 makes up for the loss in Master Healer(i think i can live without Enhance xxx4 pretty easily,i have until now )

Force Melee Defense will help you with your hunting. Against other Jedi it will be useful as Jedi with Master Sabers have +100 to accuracy. Against non Jedi and High end PvE (krayts, nightsisters etc.) it will not be very useful as most melee professions have extremely high accuracy. That being said this mightbe moot as the CURB could see the reduction of accuracy modifications.

As far as I know it only helps you avoid getting hit by a melee attack. Therefore if someone has higher accuracy then you have melee defense it won't do much good.
