reading these posts i get curious as to the lvl of weaponsmiths and smugglers you have... i have a few guns i switch between and i'll post the stats of them and i'd like to see what everyone else is using...

now i am Master Carbineer so speed is irelevant for me but when i was less experienced i went for speed weapons and these are all left over from before master... except the krayt... these are all sliced... some of the posts have lasers with 300+max dmg... thats impressive cause i've never seen one on scylla like that... and i use the EE3 and DXR6 against vulnerable opponents only... other than that its the laser all the way.. and i had the DH17 made to use in PvP dueling and such... i'd like to see what some other folks are using... and lets be honest... btw if you know of a weaponsmith on scylla that can make significantly better weapons... let me know i'm always shopping

on kettemore im buying a DH17 shortnose (im not sure if thats name or not, forgot) carbine that has 78-250 to 270 damage, 2.1 speed, and ham costs in the 10's and 20's, unsliced/unpoweruped

Wow,either I've been using crap equipment,or my server ( radiant) just has sub par resources.The DX I've been using has more than double the HAM costs I'm seeing here.Whipping out a special hits me anywhere from 300-500 pts of damage.I thought it was the norm until I started reading this board.Go figure.

Anyone know of any weaponsmiths on Radiant?

To all the people who are talking poor of the Laser Carbine, i just want to ask if you are watching the combat spam channel or the numbers floating above the heads of your enemy... first of all the combat spam doesn't account for the AR and the AP, when the numbers float above the heads of your enemy it gives the appropriate damage after armor is considered. now, the elite and DXR6 have light AP, the laser has medium AP, so next time you are our hunting, don't watch the combat spam, watch the numbers and then compare between the different types of carbines... i used to think that it makes a huge difference in switching weapons to the different resistances of the creatures i was hunting, but after reading the AR/AP info and watching the numbers float and comparing them to the numbers on the combat spam i realized that the AP makes a bigger difference than the type of damage you use, my new laser has 3.5 60-360 and lower HAM (think action is 42) than all my other guns except the DH17, but the DH17 has no AP therefore it doesn't do as much total damage, oh and also if you are using a laser against somthing w/o any armor rating... it does far more damage than using a gun w/o AP would... so i would recomend that next time you are out hunting, watch the numbers above your enemy and compare those numbers to the combat spam, you will see a difference.

I too use my lazers almost exclusivly the reason for it is AP AP AP AP no other gun avalible to me can touch it in actual damage to the critter for 99% of the MOBs in the game. One thing i ust dont get is why do yall use the D17 snub my regular D17s do more damage cause i can use my super copper for all of the metal where as the D17snub i have to use some of my iron as well which will always have lower stats than copper. The only good thing i see is a slightly shorter ideal range.

why are u compareing the worst carbines i have seen

im a bh carbineer

all i use is cabines and llc

and i wouldnt even waste 10 creds on the guns u are comparing

if u want to actualy compare guns and judge them why not get the best ones u can instead of the worst

they chould have been made by a master weponsmith that has the highest quality resources to make the carbines not some just grinding out guns to complete profession

ive bought the best carbines i can find and get crates of them

as of now the dxr6 is the best carbine

everyone in my squad that uses a carbine agrees

sorry they were made by a master but still they are the worst i have seen carbine wise
