Yeah, the mods are another reason to get Desperado. Just forget the medic and grab Desperado. Torso shot is great.

I have been master pistols and master fencer for a long time (with some smuggler skills) and I am now contemplating a new template...
-Mater Pistoleer (of course)
-Master Smuggler
-BH 0040
I am thinking the combination of the pistol skills will complement each other nicely, not to mention the pistols that are available to smuggler and BH...
Any Ideas?

yeah, i respec'd to this last night and i have to say im liking it. Although i will miss fencer, it was pretty fun...I think im going to keep this template.

Its not bad, infact thats where I was heading last nigh until I realised I could get more acc and speed out of M Pistols, M Smuggler, M Marks, 0200 commando. If your looking for pure Acc and Speed stats go this way.

actually i have changed my template agian, and found this works even better, I am loving it so far.
I dropped master smuggler and bh 0040...
For Master bh and smuggler 4000
I found that i was not really using many of the smuggler pistol skills (except the first line, which i am keeping anyways) And the bh specials are way better in my opinion. especially underhanded shot and bleedshot. plus now i can wear assault armor.

I think you'd get smoked by a good rifleman. Also, no curing fire/poison/disease. I am not saying you need to sure all three, but you can;t even cure wounds.

I'm not into being uber, I just like to have fun RPing.
I was just messing with my respec which I've not really done that much and came up with - MPistol/TKM/0400 Smug.
What do you think? Not uber in anyway but I like the meditate and TK Armor with the slicing skills of the smug. I almost felt like it was someone who had taken the Pistol arts to a level where they mediate away wounds, and use TKM armor to dodge shots and know there pistols back to front so they can slice them.
Or is just useless and i'm kidding myself? lol

Sounds good to me, you can look cool in Bio Engineeredclothing while you blast stuff.

innate armor is a beautiful thing with the price of armors since CU. It is also fairly hard to find a doc sometime so meditate is great. The only thing you might lack is accuracy (you will deal less damage versus high end mob) since most ranged professions give a lot of general ranged accuracy. You might also lack a good damage specials, you might only have body shot.
But I would say this is a viable template, and I always say that the best template is the one you enjoy playing.
