I'm 3 boxes from master.. so I'm going to master it first (also it's a holo profession for me) but after that I'm dropping it. So far it's been the gimpiest, least enjoyable combat profession. Crap damage, broken specials, and ridiculous HAM costs. If they can't fix it all they might as well just change the artwork so that they show the gun pointing at you instead of away from you. It would be a more realistic picture of what happens in a fight.

i just re-read the entire thread, it's nice to have company when you're depressed...
whatever dev it was Novamarine was referring to, the one who amazingly deigned to speak with nova after he royally screwed up, the one who didn't do 5 minutes of testing (that includes load-in time if he didn't have SWG already up) to find out cs2 was broken (not that he's ever read our profession's bug notes, I mean, that's an entire HALF PAGE of text, i can see how he'd be overwhelmed and miss some little detail like which shot works and doesn't) before he went ahead and hit that 'commit to source' button on whatever god forsaken source code manager he uses. He didn't even try. That dev should be fired.
It's no wonder he replied so quickly, twice (!!), to Novamarine, he's hoping his ass won't be toasted over this. SNAFU.
Seriously, is there absolutely no professional pride at all in the dev team? what do you guys DO other than code new color values into **edit**? Or are they great programmers hamstrung by an incompetent management? Anyone have links to SWG developer's blogs or any other insight into the dark mind, no, dark continent, of SOE development?

I have been carb since week one of release....
tired of killing my self more than my target if i am unbuffed!
tired of broken specials
tired of being outclassed by groups that spend the same amount of skillpoints as me.

I'm the same as perp. I hated it when I started, thought it was good enough to stick with once I hit master (unlocked my slot as well), but now it seems pretty worthless again.

Reactive much? I mean, c'mon.. dropping a class a day after a patch?
Sheesh.. maybe I've just been a squad leader too long to let this bother me. Or maybe my expectations are a little different. Admittedly, I don't PvP all that often and haven't in the last few days so don't know how that was impacted, but it'll likely get fixed.
Incidentally, I was able to solo a yellow (two, seperately) melee mob with the current load. What the heck are you guys trying to solo without chargeshot?
