Since the vast majority of the game population doesn't give a flip about PvP and since we all know the only reason anyone would ask for a stun weapon is so they can spam some attack and "pwn" in PvP. . . .

Now if you were talking about a COLD dmg carbine I'd sign till the cows came home.


Also if you want us to stick to the "original intent" of the thread (more weapons) then he should have titled it so. The TITLE of the thread was "sign if you want a stun dmgcarbine". We don't so we /nosign.

I would love a shiney new carbine. I don't care what damage type it does.


The important thing is that it has to look cool.


If anyone out there is listening about the armour thing, I agree with that too, I believe that comp should be abolished. Everyone ends up having to wear comp because all alternatives are not good enough to keep you alive against someone wearing it.

Make all weapons able to do stun at say 1/10th the normal damage.

I'm against us getting a stun weapon, but I think that either the devs give everyone stun damage or no one.

I think it would be great if the devs redid the armor so that each armor had it's own special resist, several resistances to other damage types. and several vulnerabilities.
In my opinion, the faction armors are good armors in a "balanced armor system" They have plenty of resistances (only three vulnerabilities), and their resistances are around 30% each. And in a "balanced armor system" , there could be armor with fewer damage types that it defends against, but it would be higher in each one. So something protecting against only one or two damage types might have 70+ resistance, while something protecting against every damage type might have resistances in the high teens at best.


Just my opinion on what I think would make armor better


And yes, I would love to see new carbines and damage types, and I also say no to stun damage.....unless of course something like what I have just stated happens with the armor (that's obviously improbable though). It just isn't right when professions have to rely on one out of....I think 8 or 9 damage types (and one which no weapon has right now: restraint) to be effective in PvP. I also say no to blast damage, no need to slap the commandos in the face....again
