Thread: Help Needed: Weapon Choice for a custom carbine

Now yes, if they are wearing a psg, it would make the dxr6 better, but only minimally. This would make the laser carbine better in 3 of the 4 sitations you mentioned earlier. Not all guns are crafted equally, so im just showing you wanderhome guns.
Agreed. All of us I think agree with this fact as well. Which is whyI usually recommend that users invest in a good Laser Carbine first, to cover 75% of the cases. Depending on your server, it could be 90% of the cases.
On the servers Iplay on (Bloodfin and Starsider), I'd say that about 80% of people who activelyPvP wear a PSG. So it really depends.
In any case, I think that to cover that one scenario amidst the four possible ones, it's a good idea to invest in a good DXR6 as well.
It can't hurt, really.Carbineers need some serious love at times.. this is just one way to make thingsminimally easier for us. ![]()
Anyway, I think that's that. Settled and done with. Phew!

Well, since I started this mess, I figure I'd tall you what I got made:
I used 9 x +40 tissue with -.771 speed (nice speed huh? - paid 2.6 mil for em) and 2 x form fitting stocks. Got one Laser and one DXr6 carbine made.
The laser is 2.5 speed and the dxr6 is 2.7 speed. Both unsliced. My trusted slicer hasn't been on for a while.
Damage on the dxr6 is 259 and the laser is 360ish. Both have high accuracy (really good scopes) and condition in excess of 1100. My WS has his FS crafting branch done - hehe
So that's the update and thanks all for your help too.
Nice on the damages, but the key numbers for PvP carbines are the min damages. (Maybe its just me, but even an 871 condition carbine like the experimental weapons I'm using is still plenty high, the extra condition is not buying all that much additional time when you count hard and heavy use.)
