Thread: Breakdown of Carbine Specials
The Bleed damage does show up in your combat text. If you hit with your actionshot 2 for 400 damage, then the mob will bleed for 400 damage a tick.
I know i'm jumping in late here, but I didn't see it mentioned...
Does Chargeshot2 do ANYTHING for anyone else? Other than just doing regular dmg on a single target? No knockdown on target, no AOE effects, nothing other than a low dmg hit on the targeted mob.
Anyone else?

Erp, addendum to above post, I was asking if anyone had noted CHANGES in Chargeshot2...I've not actually been online in 5 weeks doing military fun.

What is the percentage of Wild Shot actually stunning the target and what is the duration?

You guys said Knockdown shot 2 doesn't work at all? Can it knockdown at least single target?
So if knockdown shot2 doesn't working what is good for stoping melee attack come up?
If you have a Teras Kasi rushing you, hit them with Charge Shot 1 or Suppression Fire 2. That will stop them, at least for a few seconds...enough time for you to get some much needed distance.
In PvP, if a TK Master gets in range, I'm dead. My accuracy sucks at point blank - they immediately will knock you down, then one or two hits later and you're gone even with the 75% damage reduction.

Pistoleers have no status changes except for bleeds. No stun, no blind, no dizzy, etc.
I'm a pistoleer Trickshot who's thinking about switching to carbiner for a while to try something different. I have noticed that CrippleShot does wicked dmg in PvP, esp with a nice AP carbine. No pistols have AP (yes the DX2 is supposed to have it but it's bugged and not working right).
SR Combat Pistol: AP1, DX2:AP1 (verified as working in PvE), Republic Blaster: AP1 (bugged cert)
AP is broken in PvP for all guns afaik.
so which is better, crippling shot, or full auto area 2?? considering the possible status modifiers?

fullauto single 2 does stun and blind but I've noticed at second or 3rd shot - maybe a bug or a low percentage? Also uses up a lot of ham - more than full auto area 2
action shot 1 and 2 do posture change plus bleed - in PvE this will stop the enemy for 3-4 secs - also this is not checked but action shot 2 seems to be area of effect
charge shot1 will knock enemy down but this will slow the enemy less than action shot - right now you can spam it - but this is a bug and they'll fix it
fullauto area 2 does stun and blind plus awesome damage - I've hit for up to 4k with a laser carabine - a good tactic is to send the pet in - wait for all of the mobs to gather arround it and then do full auto area 2 - sweet
Stun shot 2 - or wild shot - seems to actually do good damage at low ham cost.plus it's expected to stun
- although fullauto area 2 does this and also blind - maybe a little bit more ham cost
Burst shots seem to be the best bet - they don't spend as much ham as other specials and also do great damage at fast speed
