Hmm. I must have missed where he said that. And in any case, I suppose what I wrote was more a vent on that line of reasoning in general than anything brought up explicitly in this thread -- a vent that was tipped off by the comparison of Boba Fett taking on blah blah blah. I did notice you said it shouldn't be that way, but it just got me going anyways.

ObsidianDawn...in the first of your replies that i answered, you made it sound as though the BH in question killed five people at once in a one on five. now you say it was in a raid...which opens up the possibility that there were others firing into some of the people involved.

additionally, you refer to this BH sticking dizzy/kd's on five people...and yet...using /knockdownfire as much as i do,i know that it does not always stick...and...here's another question:

in the time it took this BH to target and KD FIVE PEOPLE....the others didn't manage to kill him? **edit** were they doing, running with crafting windows open?

why didn't you switch to a launcher pistol at long range? sure, you weren't in range for any special moves...but you weren't able to even hit him with a regular shot?

no one else used a KD, /panicshot, or any other relevant special move on this guy?

in the time it takes to target and KD five people, that guy should have been rolled up. BH have no defense.

/lowblow, /panicshot, hell--even use /bodyshot2 with the freaking Launcher pistol to do some damage (or did he also find time to heal himself between targetting and KD'ing?).../stoppingshot, /chargeshot1, /cripplingshot, attack with pets, /fanshot, hell, even hit him with /legshot3...

do you even realize how much HAM it burns to fire /knockdownfire five times? let me help you--it costs me 200 ham when i'm wearing a composite helmet, adv comp chest, and adv comp pants. that's for ONE.

so this guy wasn't wearing armor, or he incap'd himself? which is it?

but i suppose in the next post, you're going to say he was buffed, which i offered as a possibility earlier...that is a feasible possibility, but the fact remains...BH have no def vs KD (i'm not saying we *should* have it, just pointing out that we don't) which means we are very susceptible to other class KD's. since there are tons of smugglers out there, and more than a few carbineers nowadays, and EVERYONE seems to lead with a KD...i have to assume that there was SOMEONE in this group who had a KD...and yet...no one used it? in the time it takes someone to target and KD five different targets, anyone should be able to stick a KD on somene--even if it took spamming /lowblow, /chargeshot1, etc...he'd tip over.

and...you want to point out lag to explain yourself, and say that i'm not in touch with reallity...so...i am to assume that reallity in your world is that this BH wasn't suffering from the lag that everyone else was? if he WAS, targeting and KD'ing five diff people would be **edit** near impossible--strobing sucks enough fighting one person...and if he WAS the only person not bothered by the lag, is that because he's a BH, and has Def vs Lag +60?

you tell me how the hell five of you were not able to kill someone with next to no defensive mods, no def vs Knockdown, etc.

i noticed that you said you could not get in range to use your specials...does that mean you were running after this guy, with your flamer equipped, NOT FIRING, and yelling at your PC because you were lagging? **edit**...if you weren't smart enough to take what you could get, and just hit the other guy with regular flamer shots, or switch to a pistol and stick on /healthshot1, and a couple /bodyshot2...i mean...jesus...no one wins by not shooting.

and if you WERE shooting, how the hell did FIVE OF YOU not kill this guy in the amount of time it took him to target and KD five people? do you notice anything wrong with this yet?

OR...

you can keep changing your story, and keep trying to debate the way things really work, without touching key issues:

1. if there was bad lag, the BH should have been lagging, too.

2. takes more than five seconds to target and shoot five people. in that amount of time, if the other guys had him targeted (i can assume YOU did, since you knew what range you were at, right?), how the hell did you not manage to take this guy down before he kd'd everyone?

either you are embelishing beyond belief, or you have no idea how to PvP.

and what are your skills, by the way? what, besides commando, do you have?
