Thread: What profession(s) do you have besides carbineer?

Smuggler by nature, never considered Carbineer till CU. Current temp is MSmuggler, MCarbine, Pistoleer xxx4 and Scout 1xxx. I am loving the Carbineer, found it by looking for a compliment to Smuggler. Now I enjoy it more than Smuggler. The role of Crowd Control works great in a ranged group. Scout is so I can supply organics for my guild and I switch it out with novice Artisan so I can survey and drop harvesters for my crafter. Now that we can survey from a vehicle, no longer need survey 4 to be tolerable, and since my crafter is level 10 he can no longer place harvesters on hostile planets. Besides my crafter has never been able to clear some lairs out of the way for my harvesters. Not sure how this will hold up in PVP.

Master Carbineer/Master Combat Medic/Pistoleer 0004

MCM compliments Carbineer very well. CM's Electrolyte Drain (slow movement speed by 40%) stacks with our crippling shot, meaning you can slow somebody down to the rate of a snail. At the same time you can use Pistoleer's stopping shot on another target and CM's Paralyze on yet another. So you can effectively keep 3 targets immobilized for a time. Also, as you may imagine, the DOT attacks from CM compliment the straight damage of leg shot rather nicely. Both CM and the tree from Pistoleer grant more defenses, so the only place this template really suffers is in speed/accuracy.

Lots of fun and with the cm i dont seem to run out of action to much because the cm skills are mostly mind. Banances my offencive power between both my secondary hams (action and mind). Also i have a lot of diffrent things i can use at diffrent times.

I love this build i have a blast. More fun to me than the carb/bh/xxxx builds i tried.

Wow that is awesome, i've pinched this template, and added MCM to it for heals and extra nme mods. To do this i had to drop commando x-4-x-x. After that though i still ended up with better accuracy than having 2 elite master professions, w00t


BTW with that set up i am CL 78, which doesn't make any difference tbh

Hard to beat the combo of MBH - Master Carbineer - Novice Doc


And as my sig says, I have a Master Carbineer - MCH - 0040 Medic......along with my Master Doc - Master Merchant and Jedi

I went Master BH/Master Carbs/Novice Doc and I have 3 points left over. THis is working pretty good for me, the 10% self buff, and the extra 500 point heal every 6-9 seconds really helps out.



Pre CU I was a Master Carb/MAster Doc and I did very well.
