Our damage is currently fine. The exception to this is the very end-game content that has high resists. This is only a problem for us because of damage-types, not damage output.
There is also nothing wrong with our damage in PvP. You are completely missing the big picture. The problem, which is not unique to carbineers, is that armor is too potent. Couple the armor with insane buffs to secondary stats and you have a situation where most players can regenerate damage back faster than it can be applied. This has zero to do with the damage output of carbineers.
Once you have played the game longer, you will see the problems facing carbineers are game-wide and not specific to this profession.
For god sakes were carrying machine guns...
Um, no. We are carrying carbines. The M4 "rifles" youoften seespecial forces and manysoldiers carrying in pictures from Iraqare an example of a modern day carbine. Carbines are basically, light rifles or heavy pistols depending on the particular weapon. Carbines can be fully automatic, but that doesn't make them a machine gun any more a fully automatic pistol or rifle is a machine gun.
Also, try to remember this is a game. There is a balance that must be struck between the professions. You cannot say we have machine gunsso our profession must be better than all others because we have machine guns! Balance needs to be king, not realism.

Voted best on your server? how could that poll even have technically happened except from the launchpad...gimme a break. Carbines have plenty of damage, you should be moderately fast, with moderate damage. You can apply states to an area of people, good luck getting the doc to heal everyone as quickly as you can fire. As a SUPPORT fire roll this prof can be deadly as a standalone against several other people you should get beat. BIG PICTURE folks think of rolls in battle, Not all profs should be able to do everything.

Was it over when people wanted AP3 Heavy Machine guns for a sub machine gun class? NO! Was it over when you thought you needed +125 vs KD and +99 vs dizzy? NO! Was it over when the Germans Bombed pearl harbor? NO!

he wrote that Carbineer wouldn't mind lossing some Damage to get some Effectiv Status Effects that Stick... and im all like Bull **edit** i dont wanna Loss the only thing that keeps me alive atm. So befor you start any thing... go read what this is really about.
I never said losing damage. Reading comprehension is a valuable tool. I said they would not mind lower damage than comparable classes *if* states were valuable tools that would, when applied, enhance damage. You cannot quote me in a vaccuum.
Further, while that is your opinion, I have posted numerous polls and concept threads and in every single one the majority of forum readers indicated they would like states to be important, they want carbineers to be king of states and they are willing to do slightly less damage for the state advantages. As opposed to many many correspondants these days, I do not push my personal ideas but read and ask questions and then push forward the opinion of the majority. I didn't just come up with that post after a few days of personal reflection but developed that after months of discussion. Notice how so many readers responded with positive feedback? That is because they secretly wrote it. I just typed it up.
And please, lets stop with theI'm the best carbineer comments. We all know those forums are popularity contests and nothing more. You opinion matters, but it does not matter more because you won some silly vote started by someone who wanted to have their ego boosted. However, your opinion will matter more if you can follow arguments from others (and not misquote them)and put together consise thoughts to provide support for your point of view.
I think what you are looking for is heat damage type. Yes in the actual sense of the word a normal projectile weapon could be considered Kinetic...but in SWG terms kinetic is used for melee weapons. Heat is used for weapons like the FWG5 and other projectile non-energy type weapons.
And anyone who has to base his ego off some random board poll that was witnessed by such a finite representation of your servers population really needs a reality check.
Stick to trying to keep the game balanced instead of just trying to chalk power into your corner.

Now that, sir, was an insult... I will have to degrade your uber 30 million credit armor when next I see you!
