yeah, try htting submit then changing a spelling error and it double posts...


And I've been playing as long as just about anyone else i jsut dont feel the need to post every thought i have, but i want this friggin' lightsaber.


guarantee my post count wont rise more than 10-20 posts a month or so now that i have the saber i feel i deserved.

Ranged and Melee Mitigation are being changed they say.


Templates could be altererd, gameplay a change!


With no mitigation what does this do.


At the rate we're going, we'll be in a zoo!

What sorta numbers should i be hitting on state defense so i don't get destroyed in combat. I am going Master Carbs, BH carbs and something(maybe medic, pistols for def, commando flame) - dunno which yet.

Any defense really needs to be +80 or higher to "feel" the effect and anything over +110 is VERY noticeable


IMO anything below +50 is a complete waste of time....

Here are the stats from what I consider the best Carbine fighting only template for PvP....which means only using a Carbine in combat


Master Carbineer - 4440 Fencer - 0040 Pistoleer - 0003 TKA - Novice Medic (medic can be dropped to pickup the meditate line in TKA)


Carbine Accuracy +130 - nice to have SEA's and Food
Carbine Accuracy While Moving +30
Carbine Aiming +25
Carbine Speed +60 -must haveSEA's
Combat Equilibrium +10
Counterattack +105
Defense Vs. Blind +80
Defense Vs. Dizzy +80
Defense Vs. Intimidate +45 - need SEA's and/or Zabrak
Defense Vs. Knockdown +115
Defense Vs. Posture Change (Down) +70
Defense Vs. Stun +40 - need SEA's and/or Zabrak
Melee Defense +116 - nice to have SEA's and/or Food
Ranged Defense +128 - nice to have SEA's and/or Food

And you can go crazy with defenses....drop Novice Medic and pickup 0304 TKA and once Publish 10 hits, get +3 Carbine Speed in FS Skills too


BTW, I am a Zabrak so the 3 extra +10 State Defenses are in these numbers:

Try to cap counterattack at 125. Take some good attachments to add +25: 150 counterattack.
Try to blind your opponent.
Dabble some good def vs. sthg from pistoleer/fencer/etc

Btw, jedi have the lowest accuracy of any melee classes (especially non-master LS). You'll be hard to hit by a jedi blinded.

Synthesteak is your ally.
