Could someone please post a useful macro for PVe/PVP. I am close to Master Carbineer so any macro within that profession would be very appreciated. Also, if I drop Novice Medic will I still be able to use ANY stim pacs at all? <-- off topic but I need to know, lol. Thanks

There is NO MACRO for Carbineer....go try Rifleman.....

We have about 10 Specials that are all useful in different situations and nearly every fight I have I use 3-5 of them, so setting up a MACRO is just plain stupid. Now some people setup what I call mini-macros of one or two shots and that is fine. This profession is based on TACTICS, not button mashing, sorry.

No Medic, no Stims at all.

Currently Master Carbineer, Doc 3030, novice brawler, Pistols 0040. The doc is due to the heavy use of DOT weapons and cm's on my server. I use a laser carb and can land states fairly well with snow cake, but I can't hit a fencer for the life of me. I'm thinking of dropping brawler and doc for the BH carbine tree, just wondering how well the BH carbine/Carbineer combo works against Fencers. My mods are all maxed at +25(speed, accuracy, accuracy while moving).

Depends on what goes on with all the "Jedi" activity.

OK... my tip. If you are crazy, like me , and fight without buffs or armour and have pets... Medic xx4x is quite handy with pretty good StimDs. My goal right now is MCH, MC, and 0440 Medic and see how that works for me... though I am on the look out for SEAs now... those would be handy, or so I've been told... never used one, can't afford to buy them at auction

10 months ago that was how we all fought.....it was fun but I am glad the "good old days" are behind me....

If you're like me, getting Master Carbineer/BH (Master or just Carbines line) the most efficient way I found so far is this:

It's much easier to get Novice Carbineer first then Novice BH. Once you've achieved those two novices, concentrate your Combat Experience for the Carbine Special Abilities tree in Carbineer (000x). You'll get the Full Auto Areas and Charge Shots there.

Next, it is my opinion to get Carbineer's Intermediate Carbine Counter Insurgency Tactics (0010) to get access to Burstshot. You can bypass this if you want to go to the next step:

Then, as blasphemous as it sounds, concentrate your Carbine XPs for BH's Bounty Carbine Specialization 3 (0300). Why? At 0100 and 0200, you get +10 speed/accuracy mods in both boxes. You get access to Underhand Shot. At 0300, you get a great +20 speed/accuracy mod and access to Fireknockdown. That, will get you alot of speed & accuracy for the rest of your grind. It is FAR MORE efficient to do this then spending Godly amounts of XPs across 2 trees in Carbineer.

After BH 0300, work on the rest of Carbineer. I haven't reached this point but I suggest going up the Carbine Assault Tactics tree for more speed.

Then Carbine Marksmanship with Counterinsurgency Tactics next.

... and my saying is "Speed Kills." If I'm unbuffed and I spam Carbine Specials, it's "Speed Kills... Me."

While you might think you are blasphemous.....even I recommend this route of picking up BH Carbs before doing Carbineer Assuming you are going into BH anyways. As an Engineer the numbers don't lie

The only thing I might say is go up to 0400 BH while you are there, don't drop back into Carbineer just yet (the Combat XP you have no control over, flat 10%, so you can't "focus" on it). After that I would go to BurstShot2 as a high damage Cone Effect Special, which has the same mods as FanShot, which Pistoleers use to level as well.

And always remember it is faster leveling if you reduce Speed vs. increasing Damage, so try to match your Carbines with you Skill Mods to speed cap whenever you can throughout the process.

That was hillarious, haven't seen someone try to get their postcount up that way yet. Haha.
