You should add LegShot3 and possible WildShot2. Both are able to stick a stun faster than FAA can, which helps stick other states.


Where are those ChargeShots?

i find it easier to use Action shot 2 instead of chargeshots...no stupid animation to deal with and they are as good as KD when you do it, benifits out weigh the bad stuff.


Leg shot 3 = worthless; even though im constantly mind buffed and stat buffed and the ham costs (which are high) dont really matter to meit doesnt do too much dmg, id rather rely on action shot and scatter shot 2.


Wildshot = worthless; It only applys stun, FAA2 applys stun,dizzy,blind...so even if i dont get a stun right away hes dizzied or blinded.



A little off topic, i think that FireKD move in BH carbs should have an inate Fire dot, like torso shot. Just my opinion

Actually if you are solo (or have others that can hit Action) then it has been proven, by me, that LegShot3 will kill a critter quicker.


LegShot3 is far from worthless.

btw...the whole special discussion is the same old thing for a lot of proffesions...people are just stuborn to believe it


in pve...and of course in certain cases pvp:


TK: unarmed combo1 > unarmedhit3

Pistoleer: Healthshot2 > stoppingshot/lastditch

Carbineer: legshot of course ehehe > crippling

fencer: bodyhit3 > scatter


and so on....

The problem is the difference between dps and ttk. The damage per second on some specials is faster, but the time to kill is slower due to random HAM hits. People talk alot about dps, but I don't see anyone refering to TTK.

Really? I remember back in the day that Legshot 3 didnt do much dmg more than Legshot2. I'll test this out next time im on.


Thing is though, i roll with jedi alot, or melee or riflemen, so its usually only health or mind. and i just use action shot for the posture change. and its funny to add a bleed even though its worthless

I ran the numbers for Carbineer on Time To Kill in DPS terms for LegShot3 and CripplingShot......of course being Speed Capped throws out LegShot3 being better, but it is until you are Speed Capped....in Time To Kill terms, not raw DPS.

No, LegShot3 is the same as LegShot2 when it comes to damage output still. But we believe the Accuracy Mod and Stun % Mod are greater for LegShot3 so we reference that as being better.

Yes, as a ranged player on a couple toons, I LOVE facing melee guys (TKM and Fencer to the most) as they stand in range and start dealing out damage I can nail them full out with laser carb, DE-10 and T21 or DXR6. Last night a friend of mine did 1010 damage with stoppingshot using his DE-10 on a jedi in a huge pvp fight and got his mission.
