What does it cap at? I heard secondairy defense like counterattack dont cap. Ive also heard they cap at 125 like everything else. So which is it? Does anybody have or know a link to where an SOE official comments on this?

As far as I know both are right. Theoretically there is no true cap, but since the most you can get from CAs/AAs is +25 that will dictate where you actually cap.

i thought the cap was at 125. it was changed awhile back from being no cap, to prevent templates being impoissible to hit. Like fencers used to be able to dodge every shot/hit. They were next to impossible to kill.

Yes, the cap is 125. So a master swordsman only needs +15 to cap.

The cap is +125, and no, CA/AA cannot break the cap (positive on this one)... You can have more than +125, but it wont do anything.

sounds good, that means with my new +25 AA counterattack i dont need to waste points on carbineeer.

For a Master swordsman, is it worth it to take the carbines 0-0-4-0 line for the extra +80 I think? Will those work together? Unfortunately I need a pre/post CU opinion, hehe. Is counterattack worth anything?

pre-CU It used to be worth it when there was no cap. it helps but i dont see that much of a diffrence.
Post-Cu there is no longer a counter attack mod. so basically it is what ever profession you choose to play in the CU you should go for.
