Ive kept this since week one of the game, even with hologrinding. ... and just when I thought it was getting better. So publish 7 is when? May?

Keep sending in /BUG reports, keep it dailly in the the problem reports. With enough complaints, it WILL get fixed before next publish. WHY? because a few people did complain to get CS1 effect removed, eventhough it was working as it was supposed to.

Chargeshot1 works correctly? I knew it was never supposed to be infinitely spammable, but was it really supposed to be a one-second-only kd? It's now totally useless except to use once on a tkm or melee prof to give a one-second advantage while RUNNING LIKE HECK to get away. LOL.

Furthermore, I would tend to agree with StarDryfter about going tkm since the likelihood of our profession's being fixed anytime soon seems to be slim-to-none, but as I posted on another thread, I've been hearing nerf rumors there too. If anyone can reasonably claim that those are false, I'd definitely go that route.

You can kiss the carbineer population good bye if they don't give us some sort of hot fix. The only people who will have carbineer in a few weeks will be BH carbine/carbineer dabblers and die hard carbineers. Hell, there will probably be more jedi and pikemen than carbineers soon.

/chargeshot2 is not working but the Dev thought it was. He is looking into this more. I think a hotfix is unlikely but who knows.
Bottome line: we need CS 2 and/or a working dizzy and we need it soon.

whatever dev it was Novamarine was referring to, the one who amazingly deigned to speak with nova after he royally screwed up, the one who didn't do 5 minutes of testing (that includes load-in time if he didn't have SWG already up) to find out cs2 was broken (not that he's ever read our profession's bug notes, I mean, that's an entire HALF PAGE of text, i can see how he'd be overwhelmed and miss some little detail like which shot works and which doesn't) before he went ahead and hit that 'commit to source' button on whatever god forsaken source code manager he uses, he didn't even try to see if what he was doing was right. That dev should be fired.
It's no wonder he replied so quickly, twice (!!), to Novamarine, he's hoping his ass won't be toasted over this. SNAFU. Seriously, is there absolutely no professional pride at all in the dev team? what do you guys DO other than code new color values into chit? Or are they great programmers hamstrung by an incompetent management? Anyone have links to SWG developer's blogs or any other insight into the dark mind, no, dark continent, of SOE development?
Nova, I know you said stay positive, but someone, somewhere out there is a realy incompetent jerk who keeps messing with our game. I think that bastid should be brought out and publically whipped. All you Devs and Management who have done your job well, please don't take offense, there are some good things in this game. But to all the blindinglymoronictwits who can't bother to either test their code, read their dev notes or make responsible, timely decisions about what gets fixed when, you really don't deserve my ridicule, you're not even WORTH IT, but I heap it upon you anyway. Your professional career is worth less than a drop of cat whiz. Your mother, if she still acknowledges you as her spawn, should be changing her address and leaving no forwarding number. Your brain, whatever little shrunken raisin remains inside your corrupt skull, should suit you well in your next job, be it sanitary engineer, prison guard, or, more likely, mid level corporate executive. My only consolation is if you work in america, your tier will be the second (after the semi-skilled laborers) to go when the depression hits the fan. I hope you eat bread and water in your ghetto apartment and think about the days you had a decent job but were so incompitent at it that even SOE had to fire your lame arse.
there. i feel a little better now.

Nice work, way to respond to a firey issue...
What does "Chargeshot 1 is working" mean?
What is it's REAL intent as a special/ What's it really s'posed to do?
My opinion about bleeds, and a way to fix epic encounter exploiting, would be to have it do a percentage bleed.
If the creature has 50k HAM, it bleeds slower.
A durni dies quicker, just a thought.

When I went to sing into my station launchpad, this was the latest breaking news:
Update Notes: 12 February 04
Fixed a server crash related to pre-publish chef schematics.
LOL...ok, clearly they're giving chefs lots of attention here, but we're being told there will be no hotfix, and that we'll have to wait until publish 7? Hm. I'm starting to wonder what carbineers did to make the devs angry.

This is too funny. The dev though that charge shot 2 worked. It's only been broken since launch. Goes to show how much attention is paid into detail in the game.
Thanks nova you tried.

I'm a new carbineer 1-1-0-1 and I just put a post in about the odd things that were happening....or so I thought. It seems that Carbineers have been taking it in the arse for a good while now. I'm glad I am not too invested in this profession.
/hosed from the get
/drop carbineer
/pick-up fencer
already did TKM so what's next.
Good luck to you die-hards out there...may the force(run) bewith you....lol
