I just shifted from BH/Carbineer (my own FAQ write-up) to Carbineer/Swordsman.

I am very interested on your comments on this. Are you using both professions equally? Does Swordsman make you a better Carbineer?
I am very curious in identifying templates that bring out the best of Carbineer.
I managed to get master pikeman xp after a long while, because of the habit of whipping out my carb and putting things in their place!!!......but I have to say if you have good aiming while running i have taken out most professions by following threerules...
1. If the oppenent is melee attacker then run and use action shot 2, cripple, kd then cripple.............
2. If your oppenent is riflemen for example stay so tight into him that is accuracy goes to hell..( i have beaten every riflemen i have encountered like this)
3. If the have both melee and ranged, become a politician and ask them to join your city ![]()
I have always used my dxr6 carb, and now after the last repair it is 401/401
but i have found these rules to keep me a good support profession in pvp

Or how about...
Master Carbineer, Master Fencer, Pistoleer 0040, TKA 0003.
Both melee and ranged defense are above 120. Defense vs. kd is 115, vs. dizzy is 80, and vs. posture change is 70. Dodge isn't quite capped, but its close.
Would be nice if I had some terrain negotation, but hopefully that can be acquired through skill attachments.
I'm lacking the Guardsman line, which I may want to add if /aimsignificantly improve the accuracy of your next 3 shots (think a super accurate WS2/FAA2/CS2 in four seconds).
Currently I am a MC/MS with TKA 4004 (with medic/survey/scout skills whenever I want them), and it's a blast. Unfortunately, as soon as more than one person starts shooting at me in PvP I die rather quickly without any strong defenses. I think I'll try to grind up Fencer so I can abuse my template from hell before the combat revamp breaks something.
I think carbineer makes a good combo in theory with swordsmen just because it is able to apply the states that swordsmen can't and then allows you to move in for the kill. But all of this is just my guess since I haven't mastered carbineer yet. I will have to wait and see just how effective it is.
