now, i have to disagree there.....its not all about the dots, for example, i know a CM who i dueled and he threw like 1k tick poisons at me but i still won, even tho i didnt even get around to using all my poisons, there are some tactics about it, u cant just go out and get a 600str mind poison and expect to be uber (that would be uber tho ^_^)

OK, ya got me there. Beating a 1k tick poison does take skills.

A lot of Pikeman depend far too heavily on getting an uber DOT on you. When and if this changes in the CURB, this whole group will not know how to PVP. With a 600 str mind fire (i know you said poison), it is just far to easy, apply dot and sit back.

yeah, you have a point, if u had a 600str poison u would get to just sit back and watch, but i still think that it takes a bit of skill (mainly cuz i rely fairly heavily on dots to win ^_^....hey, whatever works right?)

anyone who doubts pikemans PvE abilities MUST leave RIGHT NOW. as a rifleman/pistol/pikeman (no FS speed yet) i can outdmg a speed capped swordsman with ease.. on almost any NPC. We can take on large mobs (geo caves, janta stronghold etc) using our great areas, and we can go toe to toe with other high-end npcs. As for pvp, I find that the only thing we got goin for us are DoT's. even though i highly dislike them and think they are the worst adition to the game, if you cant beat em.. join em. you cannot survive nowadays with out either doctor or high dots of your own. personalyl what i do is stick a poison (or three ) then a fire of the same stat switch to my LVA stack states on them then switch to rifles and burn it up as for jedi however, its all about action fire + an action poison a high dmg LVA and leg hit 3.
