The sith are spawning in waves.... to invade the village. You'll have to time this pretty well to get the most kills in.

BUt more importantly, who do I talk to for the inquisitor mission?

I have very mixed feelings.....and I suppose you folks should know where I stand since I represent you to the Devs

Personally I have collected one Poison DoT for each HAM Pool with over 200 damage and 50%+ potency to use on my PvP Carbineer/Fencer/Pistoleer toon. So in that regard I support the use of them NOW. But because of what I know is coming and the BALANCE that is coming, ANY ITEM that is "uber" and thus NOT in balance will be looked at eventually to be "nerfed".

So for the long term abilities and effectiveness of Carbineer.....well I don't support the sole use of DoT Carbines (they may be one tool in the bag but not the be all, end all tool in the Carbineer's bag)....but for now use whatever you can

so no more exceptional drops? It seems there are more dot weapons available than ever before, Im curious as to how they intend to nerf em, seeing as how the entire pike profession is completely dependant on dots.

time will tell... I used to hate dots until I had enough money to buy them lol

The only reason why Pikemen rely on DoTs is because, like is, they have trouble dishing out damage unless they use high-damage looted pikes. Something as simple as changing armor (which is happening) or the way damage is dealt (which is also happening) could remove a Pikeman's dependency on DoTs.. or anyone else's, for that matter.

I very much doubt Carbineer is going to become the 'DoT' profession though. While there are indeed a lot of DoT carbines out there right now, there are still very few Carbineers because DoTs alone are not enough for a profession to be PvP viable. A simple Doc template would nullify us completely, for example.

I'm just enjoying the influx of DoT carbs because of those Sith Thugs. I've got dozens of DoT Carbs, many of which I don't even carry anymore, and they're really helpful in PvP.

I don't think they've been mentioned but the Enhanced E11 Carbine Schematic that (I think) Darth Vader gives you in the Imperial Theme Park have DOTs on them. Unless it was the very kind weaponsmith who added the DOTs during crafting...

Enjoying SWG since 01/07/2004 05 January 2004 I mean
And still enjoying it today!

The Enhanced E11 has a 150 Health Bleed.....and no WS can add a DoT to a weapon
