I have a 5.5 speed Accuracy experimented DXR-6, believe me, Carbine Speed above 90 is NOT redundant.

Hey TAfirehawk...
I just recently added the BH carbines line to supplement my Master Carbineer Skills and I noticed quite a significant speed increase in all my carbines, especially in slower shots like Cripple and ChargeShot. Am I just tripping out or does this +92 speed cap on carbineer you mentioned not actually in effect.
Im not disagreeing with you that there is a cap but from my ingame experience I have to say I really did notice quite a speed increase. Maybe I dont understand what you were posting before but from what I do gather your saying that having a carbine speed skill over +92 with a weapon thats under 2.7 speed (or was it 4.0 speed??) has no additonal speed benefits.
So if it is the case that this carbine speed cap is in effect then you get no aditonal speed benefits from the BH carb line, is that correct?
Thanks for your help... Chiro - Sunrunner - Master Carbineer, BH 0/4/0/0

The "feeling" of having a huge increase in speed is correct, the formula is non-linear.....
+60 Carbine Speed will Speed Cap a 1.0 Speed Weapon
+85 Carbine Speed will Speed Cap a 2.7 Speed Weapon
+90 Carbine Speed will Speed Cap a 4.0 Speed Weapon
+92 Carbine Speed will Speed Cap a 5.0 Speed Weapon
And for some, +93 Carbine Speed is necessary for those with a 5.7 Speed Weapon.....
There, and in the FAQ, you can see the non-linear nature, moving from +85 to +93 goes from capping on a 2.7 weapon to a 5.7 weapon

That's going to change right? That's a lot of FS experience to spend on something that may or may not work in the future...

Then they broke the SL experience gains in October...and never fixed them since
this game doesnt have bugs...it just has poor management ^_^
