Last hope for me, does anyone know where the CERT for this is?
I cannot use it and I am 0-4-4-0 Carbineer.

Is the cert really broken and lowering damage when you equip it, or are you just looking at the Exam Window?

there is no cert for this. It is not in Carbineer or in BH carbines. Therefore you cant use the gun. But you can get yourself an Enhanced E11 with a better DOT and closer damage ratio. Max might not be as high unless you get a custom one and get a good strong slice. The gun you posted is good but honestly isnt amazing. Its got the damage of a laser carbine without the AP and its has the DOT of the Enhanced E11 which sucks anyway. Maybe around combat balance time the cert will be given and that will be good because the Bleed will be more effective. Either way i would just hold on to the gun as a trophy until the cert is handed out. But even with a cert i dont see that gun being a majorly used looted carbine like Nym's. Combat Balance should bring the revamp of the Elite Carbine which hopefully will consist of a higher AP rating and better stats making it a truly worthwile weapon. Hopefully CB will also bring new damage types to the arsenal of the Carbineer.

NO, just because the Cert isn't listed in a Skill Box does NOT mean it won't work....many weapons in the past have not been cert'd but work fine.
Republic Blaster and Nym's Slugthrower are the two that come to mind first.....I know there are others I have equiped that I am not cert'd for that also worked just fine.

well he said he is only doing damage in the 30s so this doesnt work properly. And when were those guns not certed because they have certs now but then again i took a several month break from the game so maybe this happened earlier.

If you look at the novice carbineer box it says slugthrower cert.

Oh, sorry, this thread is so old I didn't remember listed damage.....my bad....

Its the same as the Rifle Counter Part adn the Tusken King's rifle. THe certs were dropped from the game months ago or have yet to be placed. You cannot use this gun untill it is placed.

There are many weapons in this game that don't have Certs listed for them.
The Executioner's Hack and the DXR-6b Disrupter Rifle are two such weapons.
But at certain skillboxs you can use them fine.
if you can't use this carbine properly at 0440, then you likely need something in the x00x trees.
I can't help any more than that, as I don't have the gun.

Trust the devs to give us a new carbine (that is almost like one of our old carbines) and then not give us a cert to use it. Do you think they would do the same misstake with a new rifle or (god forbid) a new lightsabre...
