Thread: Might want to pay attention to the FS system...

Addressing all the "This is BS because now everyone has to do it to become competetive."

How is this any different than the current situation? Why don't I hear anyone complaining that a 0040 Marksman can't take on a Master Carbineer? Why aren't people protesting the injustice that a Novice Weaponsmith can't make as good items as a Master Weaponsmith? It's unfair that the Novice has to become a master just to become competetive! Oh, the horror!

Seriously, get a grip. Carbineers stand to gain the most from the FS quests (a 20% increase in our speed). Be happy.

you do realize that the same speed boost we get they all get as well as everyother boost. All it does is evenly raise the entire playing field. We stay in the same rut only we have to grind FS if we dont want to be left even further behind.


and it is entirely BS for the crafters to have to do it. Really though any of us who want to still play this game without beign stepped all over will need FS in their template.


Speaking of FS does anyone know what those luck and persuasion will actually do?

oh yeah i forgot they are all capped. cool although if this balance is anything of a balance it wont be necessary. Im over capped with BH anyway

I think we should ship TAfirehawk over to SOE dev team and have him fix the carbine profession. He probably knows more about than they do. lol

It is really a team effort around here.....and the largest share of the work was done by Nova.....


But SOE surely wouldn't like me since I am an Engineer with Common Sense.....all they want are people with "Money Cents" and their heads in the "sandbox"



BTW, you hate me so bad you want to ship me off to a place Satan is scared of......SOE Dev Team.....OUCH!!!!!

Yes, we won't have to become FS... Everyone will try to become FS, anyway. Do I have to unlock to Force to have a fu**ing chance to win a duel, or to craft a decent armor? The GCW will be an event for FS characters, it will be normal to have the Force Bonuses.

But remember almost all other profs are Speed Capped, so they will have little to gain in any FS box besides Defenses.....whereas a pure Carbineer can go from +60 to +72 Carbine Speed, which is HUGE.


At +60 Carbine Speed you need a 1.0 Weapon to hit the 1.0 Speed Cap and at +72 Carbine Speed you cap with a 1.43 Weapon. Now that might not sound HUGE, but firing a 2.0 Weapon with +60 is a 2.0 Firing Speed and +72 is a 1.4 Firing Speed. Now this isn't UBER, but in just 10 seconds the +72 Carbine Speed person will get TWO more shots off than the +60 Carbine Speed.....and unfortunately THREE less than a Speed Capped person.....


The real deal kicks in when we get some more SPEED in the Revamp.....and I can almost guarantee we will get more speed or the other profs will be getting less so the net effect is a BALANCE

Just an opinion, but that seems like a lot of work when better gains can be made elsewhere.

i think the fs is a nice addition, makes sense that fs people will have faster reflexes and aim
