At the rate the developers are going, my dog isn't going to live to see the Combat changes. He'll die of old age before this game actually works...

I like the new concept but the high HAM costs of Carbines, as they are already, make the new changes unappealing to me. Carbineers aren't given this "godly" ability that forces them to have such high HAM costs. If they're worried about state application or something, let's face it, spaming a shot allows any state to be applied (regardless of state defenses.) I haven't met anyone who is immune to Carbine applied states. KD and PD can be reduced but the other states work just as effectively.

The developers are really taking in a risk in pushing the Space expansion. The Space expansion (while potentialy fun) will just be another boat load of bufs and imbalances they will have to deal with. The Space expansion will increase SOE expenses and only make this game less of a money maker. Sure, they'll drag in the unknowing shoppers but I doubt anyone will stick with the game.

Personaly, if I could sum up the mistakes of the developers into one major mistake, it would be their lack of replayability in this game. I'm playing this game because of the PvP and political aspects of guilds and cities. Those are the only enjoyable qualities of this game. (Fighting mindless mobs who are just graphical representations of programswith higher health points is not my idea of "fun.")
