And the ADK still works like its supposed to even though the pup is supposed to accelerate the decay?

Power-ups aren't made by weaponsmiths....they are made by artisans.


1. The rifle stock PUP reduces action cost but worsens the accuracy (I make like -24% action cost -14 accuracy) I use these on my elite carbine and I get my SAC to a measely 62. I can spam specials and hold my green bar steady and sometimes even regen it.


2. The barrel PUP increase damage but worsens speed. (Be careful, bad barrels PUP's can actually lower your DPS) I use this on my proton carbine. Already has a SAC of 85 so this get's my max damage to about 975 or so. Only raised the DPS by like 6% but I really like seeing 1850 damage in my combat window.


3. The PUP that looks like a Blaster power handler (black dish thing) will increase the speed, but hurt accuracy. I make them about 24% speed increase and -14 accuracy. I use this one on my Czerka Dart carbine. It gets the DPS up there to where it's a very nice weapon, but it drains my green bar pretty quick (SAC = 99) but I only use it when it suits me todeal outkinetic damage.


4. There are like 2-3 others, but these are the three that I find most useful. I hope this helps a bit.
