Carbineer is much more like pikeman, bothare crowd controllers.Täras Käsi is not.

yeah but pikeman has a speed issue just as carbineer, and pikeman is really only good as of now becuase of the high drop rate of looted pikes. Sure, pikeman does get good melee area attacks, but TK is much more functional than pikeman.

Glad you are happy, but you are missing 75% of the fun using a Carbine......but in the current SWG world, there is little reason to not go Melee....


Ahhh, but wait for the Combat Revamp.....it will turn your world upsidedown....muhahahaha

I agree with the fact that pure carbineers should if not hit, be closer to the speed cap, just like riflemen are.

and for the comparaison with rifleman's ability in crowd control and 1vs1 I'd say that I played rifleman for many months (longer than carbines, so far), and yes it is true.

but -taking away the stun jawa ion rifle wich is not that great advantage in PvP against prepared fighters- riflemen are not as efficient in those fields than a dedicated carbineer or a dedicated BH carbineer stacker would be, mind damage is great, for sure, but it's the same thing as stun, if you're well prepared, your mind can be like tougher than your other pools, and unless you're doc (wich means low kd/dizzy defenses anyway), you can't deal with the carbines damage output at speed cap with stims B -like most people use- don't forget that taking only novice medic costs 15 points, wich means 15 less points in defenses (or offense, you name it), wich means 15 less points of weakness one can find while fighting you.


anyway, my template allows me to use stun damage/mind shot combination as well as energy/acid/HA pools hits, with easy to land, states and KDs (if not kd then posture down, the big deal). I'm not saying it's THE only template for everyone, but -with the experience I now have- I can say that it's the template wich is the most efficient regarding to my playstyle.
