melee defense only helps with avoiding an attack. the game compairs your defense with the other person's accuracy and thats the chacne they have to hit you. anyone that has mastered their profession has more than enough accuracy to completely negate the defense from 4xxx defender.
melee toughness is the skill that reduces melee damage and jedi only get that from saber toughness and jedi toughness.

Alright beacchessssssss
I'm making a Template and it's a effing rad one.. well it'll only be rad if it's level 80 at the end, thats why I'm posting here..
My template is gonna be..
MSwords/4xx4 Doc/24xx TKA/Master Brawler. I dunno if that would be level 80 or not, would it? I added it all up and I'll have one skill point left. Hope my math is right.. anyhoo, just tell me if it'll be level 80 or not and leave some feedback on it, thanks.

that temp is cl 74 if you go 34xx tk it is 76. You have 4 pts leftover after what you proposed.

Well, I don't think I would have four left because if you go TKM/Swords/4xxx Doc you have four left.

You have 4 skill points left, trust me. Master brawler is 77 sp's, doc 4xx4 is 77 sp's , Master Swords is 63,tk 24xx is 29.
77+77+ 63+ 29 = 246

Alright, and also, what difference would it make if I was level 76 fighting a level 80? I've not much experience with anything but TKM/Swords/4xxx Doc.
