Yes i want that carb.

Imagine going for a big PvP session and wiping out the entire enemy force with one full auto Area attack

Must go looking for some quality loot like that.

Where would be a good place to start for a master carb/ Master Swordsman?b I've had no luck at the geo cave lately just a few core schematics.

That carbine should tick for 277 damage (the strength).

Weapons like that seriously ruin PVP far more than Combat Medics.

That carb will not have anywhere near the effect that a single area poison does. One mind area poison can wipe out 20 players easily thus ending any form of base raid or fun in its tracks. That carb is a poison to the action and even if it was used with a cone shot it would nowhere spread like a CM poison does.

Can someone explain how DOT poison works? How often is a "tick" ? I was under the impression that it was a few seconds at least - if so how would it eat someone who is buffed so quickly?

6 times a second if memory serves correctly, the exact same as a CM.

If understand poison correctly (i tried to browse the CM forums and when i asked i just got calleda nerf herder, that board has some serious issues) the strength is the damage it will "tick" for for, whereas the potency is the % chance it has of sticking. The duration is the length in seconds the poison will last. so if you divide it by 10, and drop the decimal you will determine how many "ticks" you get.

6 times a second? I think poisons tick once every 10 seconds, so dividing the duration by 10 will give you the amount of times it will tick. You must have meant 6 times a minute

well not to make you jealous or anything, but I picked up 2 lasers off the bazaar

one is flame action DOT, one is poison action DOT

strength: 299
potency: both of them something in the 80's
duration: both of them 200s
both of them with -1 uses.

Its nasty when I stack them, and my llc with a mind poison dot of 315

I actually meant the dagger. But in general, all DOT weapons seriously ruin the chances of those who don't have them. After all, what are you gonna do when someone hits you with fire, poison, and disease, all on mind?

oooohhh. the dagger...hehe sorry. yeah that would seriously cause some dmg in PvP. But its a good thing its a Legendary item and not many like that are around. About the mind dmg...lets just hope the DEVs do what they say they are gonna do about mind. I don't know any details but i remember reading that they were looking to change how mind is damaged in combat.
