I'm a little of A and B.... I'm happy with Carbine yeah its busted but its more fun than a rifle and a pistol just looks lame. The only other combat classes worth a grain are Bounty Hunter and Commando neither of which interest me, being a one man town killing lamer isn't any fun.

Greetings. I picked carbine because I was working towards getting underhand shot at the time of the nerf and decided to leave BH and take carbineer over pistoleer because carbines look cooler. Seriously, does anyone else think it looks stupid to wear a full suit of composite or ST armor and tote a little weiner pistol? Now if only the default stand for carbines wasn't twohanded. Does anyone else wish when you were just standing around that your character would hold the carbine onehanded?

I'm a Carbineer and soon to be Fencer .. I don't know if I'm forward thinking or just a glutton for punishment. The only way I'd leave carbine is if they add in dual wielding pistols and it doesn't take too many skill points to get it.

In that case, I'm a total lunatic, because I'm a Carbineer and a ... Master Musician. LoL. Well, I do have Novice Medic -- gotta do something to deal with the insane HAM costs.

So why did I choose this odd combo? I mean, I know of no one else in this entire game who is both a Master Musician, Master Entertainer, and 2-1-1-1 (eventually Master) Carbineer. I chose it because I like the idea of the heavy-duty machine-gunning assault-troop kick-butt kind of guy. It's a nice contrast with the other half of my character, who excels at things like piano, saxophone, dance, and hairdressing. ;-)

You are wrong NewJedi :-) There is me as well :-)

I'm master Entertainer and Master Musician and planned to be master Carbineer too :-)

Why ? Because I like playing music but I'm fed up with crafting and having to paid for maintenance/harvester... And there is always better artisan around.

And I want to fight a little so I choose carbine... Why? because when I started - there were drops at this time, strange, isn't it ? - the first weapon I get was carbine :-)

I'm a...

Carbineer 3.3.1.3, Combat Medic 4.4.1.4, and Doctor 1.3.1.0

I'm definately hoping things get fixed, but until then I don't really worry about it. I don't take a lot of damage I can't handle

Woo hoo, a soulmate! Congrats on your choice of weapons. Me, part of the reason I chose carbineer was I saw everyone else around me picking up pistols or maybe rifles. I like being a little different.

Question for you, Shaavik: you and I will have very few skill points left over after we make Master Carbineer. Will you keep Novice Medic, or Ranged Weapons Support, or Scout or something else? Right now I'm torn between Medic and Ranged Support. What do you think?

BTW, I'm Ricky on Chilastra.

The very last, and 5 point box, of ranged support is suppression fire. This is a slow skill that does a posture down...the same effect as actionshot1 and 2. Totally redundant. If you don't need it for another career (like SL or CM), dump it and save the 5 points.

The 3rd box is warningshot and that is a skill noone should be without. I would be hard pressed to get rid of this skill.

I'm both A and B. Love the carbine style weapons, and waiting for some fixes. Though my progress is slow I'm not dropping carbineer.

Got some basic medic skills, and grinding out in the weaponsmith tree... planning also to get some merchant skills for better vendors.

Well, I just have from the beginning of the game only novice medic to heal me after a kill. I've never use a stimpack and I do solo a lot... I should be mad :-)

I'll surrender all the novice skills I take starting with artisan because I don't use it at all, then scout because I don't use camp either and then medic.

I will just have markman : carbine IV, ranged support IV. I will be master entertainer/musician/carbineer this way.

I don't care if anybody thinks my template is awful, it's my life, not yours :-)
