Well maybe not the Carbineer/CH......but definitely the Carbineer/Fencer/Pistoleer will have no problem with any of your templates that do NOT include CM....

Personally, go Rifleman or Carbineer, not both. You are gimping both profs or rendering the other one completely useless.

If you want Rifleman, go master it and it is better in almost every way from Carbineer. Or pickup Melee (fencer) or keep your BH. In practice I think you will be disappointed and wasting skill points in the first two options.

Rifleman/CM own PvP and almost any template with either of those is uber.....and the other profs in the template are next to useless unless they give some defenses.

But the beauty of SWG is you can try all of those out and find what you like the best.

I was also looking at very similar setups and decided to go with #2. At 2024 rifleman I was way more powerful than I had ever been even as a MC/BH hybrid. But that "dirty FOTM" feeling kept me from continuing to MR and the fact that I felt I would no longer use my carbs at all if I continued. I think I'm going to add a mele line instead. Not sure which yet. As TA would say i guess I should go read the FAQ and the STICKIES at the top of the forum

I think it's safe to say all the dedicated carbineers here value your input even if we don't always agree with you

You mean more powerful using rifles or just using the dizzy and using carbines for main damage? I've tossed out the idea of mastering rifleman for sure, like carbines too much. I really like the idea of getting the rifleman dizzy, then getting meditate, intimidate, ect.

Sorry for asking so many questions, I Just want to be sure I want to drop Investigation III.

More powerful using rifles. Being able to target the mind pool exclusively is just plain devestating. In fact it's so powerful it took all the fun out of it for me. Why bother with anything eles when I could just spam HS3 and use supressionfire to keep the distance right. I'm glad I tried it though, it really made me realize how much I loved being a MC and having to actually think while I was playing.

Ah yea, rifleman is truely devastating (I was one before carbineer). I want to keep carbines though as my main weapon. I'm starting to lean on keeping the BH hybrid until combat rebalance.

All the SEA auctions aside.....waiting for the Combat Balance when you are talking about dropping Invest XP is the smart thing.....no doubt about that....

But at the same time you need to enjoy yourself in the game for the next 8-12 weeks until the Combat Balance is finished
